U know it really is a shame that steak and shake only pays their employees 5.50 plus tips. They don't make tips because they... don't make enough. They don't worry about getting food out fast and never did get drinks til food was almost gone. It washorrible. The waitress complained about cleaning our table. Drive thru experience. The Garlic Steak cheese Burger with a side of onion rings was good and hot. The food tasted freshly made... and didn't have that, "stuck under a heat lamp" texture to it. The chocolate shake was thick and not too sweet. Recommended!Yasmin took very good care of us! Read more
First time we stopped in to eat in awhile. The entire staff was lovely, especially our waitress (we were there around 1pm, I... didn't remember her name but props to her!) A year ago this place was awesome, decent food for a great price and good service. Today not so much. As soon as we walked in we... were smacked in the face with a horrible smell. The decent food has turned into a very low quality food, still super cheap butconsidering the service has dropped considerably and the quality of food is now comparable to trash, I wouldn?t waste the timeor money. Also the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, probably the reason for the smell throughout the restaurant, I wouldcompare them to a nasty bar or truck stop. Hate to see this place end up like this. I love eating here. The food is great and the prices are great. Frankly, this place deserves a star taken off for the speed of... service, because they have always been slow, but the price and quality of the food and shakes completely makes up for it in myopinion. My first visit to Steak n Shake. Order at the counter and the friendly employees will bring your food to the table. We ordered 2... double steak burgers ???? with cheese ???? (each came with shoestring fries ????), a cup of chili, and 2 vanilla shakes for atotal of about $16. Along with being an economical place to eat the burgers were good and the huge thick shake, which is servedwith a spoon, was DELICIOUS. Read more

When I arrived, the waiter had no idea what was going on and kept me waiting for another tenminutes! Well, even if it takes ten minutes! Look, is this my burger?
