Great steaks! Delicious sides and desserts all made by the owners. Our family celebrated a birthday here for dinner. ... Expensive but worth it! Fine dining with a fancy menu, and choices. The interior is a bit rustic. Table and chairs detractfrom the fine dining experience as they are not good quality but the food makes up for it. The only downside to our meal was arubbery lobster tail. Otherwise the food was pretty amazing and the service was good. In house desserts to die for. Read more

My husband and I ate there last night for our anniversary. Food was amazing! I had the best steak I have ever eaten. Literally... melted in my mouth. My husband had the shrimp, scallops, and grits. He said it was one of the best seafood dishes he has had. Highly recommend and we will be back! Read more

Lovely place with owners that care and want to get to know you. In house made dressings, good selection, and generally just... better than what I?ve found so far within a 15 mile radius of the hotel. I had Walleye - in Arkansas! If you?re in Rogers, justgo here and be delighted by everyone. Read more

Was looking for a decent dinner I could either sit and read my book with a glass of wine, or get takeout to eat at my air bnb. I... was able to do the first which was absolutely lovely. The food, wine and service was great. The food was out of this world. However it IS quite pricey for such a relaxed environment. I had crab cakes with quail eggs, twice baked potato, a glass of wineand crème brûlée for desert. After tip it came out to over $100. The average meal was around $50-60. It was all wonderful, and the relaxed environment worked out because the exterior looks quite casual so I went in with Jean shorts and a sweater, andas a foodie I do not mind paying for a great meal. Just, the environment has to also meet the prices, not just the food. Read more

Made reservations for 12 on Friday May 20, 2022. Upon arrival the table setting was in place, the wait staff greeted us & were... very helpful & professional. With 12 of us we ordered an array of items, from steaks, pasta & fish. All of us were very pleasedwith both the presentation & quality of everything served. I?m sure they all enjoyed the evening very much. I know I did havingmy family of 4 generations & a wonderful dinner. Thank You Fat Chef !!! Read more

Most amazing food and service. Went on a Tuesday evening and had no trouble getting in. I had the fresh made lemonade to drink... and we started out with the stuffed mushrooms and were very pleased, what a great start. The house salad, Ceasar salad andhomemade bread were very good. Turns out it was Prime Rib night. My wife had a standard queen cut, 12 oz medium and it wasperfect. I asked if they had an end cut as I really enjoy the crust's flavor and they did. It was fantastic, closer to welldone since it was the end cut, but great flavor and still tender. The sweet potato and mushrooms were great, as was the rootvegetable compote and the battered fries. We didn't do dessert, but will have to come back one evening to do so just for atreat. Read more

Yall- If you haven't been to The Fat Chef YOU NEED TO GO NOW!!! The owners are active in the business and you can truly see how... much they care. Staff was attentive and constantly moving. The place was packed on a busy Friday night yet they still kept upthe flow beautifully! I literally have NEVER been somewhere where EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. I am talking even beerbattered steak fries were holy hell amazing. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest, an hour from the coast and yet have not hadscallops so perfectly cooked. I swear they were JUST pulled from the water!! How?? Seafood-just to die for. Steak- omg how wasit so good?! Dessert- kill me now that was the best thing I have ever known. Yeah so take all my $$ now guys. We may pop in forbrunch. I just died the food coma death of heaven! We had the stuffed mushrooms appetizer - packed with flavor and perfectlycooked. Both had the ceaser and I have NEVER had a proper dressing like that except where I have made it myself! Not out here inArkansas yet!! My husband ordered their Bone in Prime Rib Special and it was so tender, so juicy, it melted. We added shrimp andscallops add on and both were perfection. The shrimps were massive! I got the Crab Rangoon dip as my main meal and was floored. You can tell instantly there is a heavy helping if REAL crab meat and it shows! The wild mushroom special side was justfabulous.....no skimping on butter and it made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. The Corn Souffle is everything it's hyped to be! Dessert wetried the Lava Cake ( as expected at this point, also perfectly done! The chocolate shavings were the perfect addition) and theToffee Caramel crepe which was the most decedent thing I have tried. Our server Carly was just the best as well! She made theexperience so wonderful! Yes their prices may be higher than we usually see here, but 100% worth it, the quality and carematch. In fact prices maybe could be raised, it's THAT good. You absolutely get ABOVE what you pay Read more

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. This is a pretty small restaurant in a log cabin that can get pretty loud when full. The menu... has an aggressive selection of steaks and seafood and appetizers for such a small community. They offer beer and wine as well. Istarted with stuffed mushrooms that had great flavor and stuffing covered in cheese. My wife had the ahi tuna and said it toowas very good. We both had the Caesar salad which has an excellent dressing. We both so had the 6 oz filet that you could cutwith a table knife literally would melt in your mouth. While the food is top notch, it isn?t fine dinning with facilities andservice, full bar etc. This is a come as you are kinda place but the prices are on scale with the most high end restaurants inArkansas. It seems to be full most of the time so reservations are needed. Read more
