Food was great as always. Service was a little slow and they did run out of a lot of food options while we were ordering. Would... have been nice to know before we decided on food options for our table. The Askinose Chocolate desert was a delight and it isgreat to support a local business Read more

Have been several times and the food was very good as it always is. The problem is that in addition to charging high prices for... the food they want to gouge you with other fees. Corkage fees are much higher than normal and the wine selection isn't great. We went for my wife's birthday and I brought a cake with us to have for dessert. We had a party of 6. I asked the gentlemanthat seated us if bringing the cake would be an issue and he said that would be fine and he took it to store in the kitchenrefrigerator while we had dinner. After they served the cake to us they told me it would be a $35 plating fee. Absurd chargefor helping us celebrate when our party spent well over $700 by the time we had appetizers and three bottles of wine. It'sgreat that the place is busy and they have an excellent product but they need to realize that they are still there to servetheir customers and charging fees like this has a consequence. We will not be returning. Last note, they don't answer thephone so if you have a question before going to dinner good luck getting an answer. Read more

All food delicious! Why 3 stars? This is a small plate restaurant. You get small portions for a lot of $$$. Example: last... visit I ordered a dinner salad. The salad (though good) was served in a standard size side salad bowl and barely covered thebottom of the bowl. Salad price? $12. I always say a restaurant can be a ?value? at $10 or $100. It just depends on what youpay for what you get(certainly includes quality). I have been to Harvest twice. For me it is just not a value. Won?t be back. Read more

Wonderful farm to table dining in a quiet, call and authentic environment. Small plates of high quality dining and surprisingly... reasonable prices. The oysters were absolutely stunning in flavor and the toro carpaccio one of the better I have had anywhere. Read more

Made reservations but there were multiple tables open. We were seated in the screened porch area at a small off-level round... table that was rather anoying and not very fitting for the occasion (would have been fine for drinks/apps but not dinner). Wineselections by the glass are limited. The only Cab available by the glass I tried and it was okay. The cocktail menu wasinteresting and had ample choices. Appetizers are excellent and on the personal size. All the food was prepared, plated, andseasoned well. No complaints on the food quality or preparation. The foie gras was very good. Was not very excited by thedessert menu. Would give five stars but I felt the food was slightly overpriced and the ambience was lacking for our visit. Read more

We visited Harvest based on previous reviews. It is a very intimate and select experience. The dining rooms might hold 50... people. There was a very adequate amount of staff to ensure service was extremely top notch and attentive. Each week, generally, the menu is updated with a variety of dishes featuring local ingredients. We attempted to sample a wide variety ofthis week?s offerings. Everything just had such a well designed flavor combination and balance. We had zero complaints orwishes other than the red snapper dish could have been better described by saying it had more of an Asian flare. The Waygu wasincredible in quality and flavor. Overall, this is a dining experience not to miss. Reservations are extremely recommended! Unless there was a cancellation, it is unlikely you?ll find a seat without one. The whole establishment has an aire ofexclusiveness that was greatly appreciated. Don?t skip this one and enjoy the beautiful drive to get there! Read more

Make a reservation 2 weeks in advance to get the best time and location for dinner. We always have excellent meals and service... at Harvest! The cheese plate or charcuterie is different each time based on the season, but I highly recommend. We?ve never hada bad entree. Enjoy! Read more

If you are looking for an *actual* fine dining experience in the Springfield area - you will find it here. The food is... immaculately prepared with fresh and locally sourced ingredients and the plating never misses a beat. Conventional and some newcocktails and a great wine selection as well. Tamara is absolutely awesome and always makes me feel like I?m eating at afriend?s home. Could not recommend this place more. Read more
