We were visiting family in Califonia and had a wonderful lunch at Sally Tomatoes. It was delicious. The outdoor area was... wonderful as it was a nice sunny day. We were going wine tasting and being from NY, we had no idea where to start... Gerardrecommended a few places to try - one winery was better than the previous! I have never been treated so rudely by a bartender in my life. Went to the comedy show on 9/9 the bar was seriously... understaffed- the bartender was mean and rude. I went with a group and was so happy to have a fun night out. Went to the barand it went south fast. I was pulled aside and told I was being cut off and was at risk of being thrown out. I went back tothe table in tears. So much for having a rare night out with friends. I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. Pretty sure my hard earned money will be welcome elsewhere. I went back to the bar and gave her a $20 tip and apologized forwhatever I did that set her off - she did not welcome my apology. Read more
They have a very nice restaurant. Our dinner was wonderful. Shayla was our server and was always near by if we wanted anything.... They also have a Tuesday night comedy night. I plan on checking that out!! Read more
Wow - I was surprised to see Sally's Tomatoes for the first time. It's quite a special spot. It's a lot bigger than I realized.... I knew they cater events and parties, but I didn't realize the physical building was so nice. On site restaurant and full barwith wonderful menu. I came here for a GO LOCAL networking event and Sally's catered the event. I loved the eggplant sandwichand amazing salad. Delicious! The outside areas as well in the SOMO Village is so nice. Sally Tomatoes was very responsive, easy to work with, and the food was delicious. They were also one of the most affordable... caterers we found for a buffet style wedding dinner. Would definitely hire them again. Read more

Bring your parka and your earplugs. They insisted on playing music so loud nobody could hear each other during dinner and I had... to keep my fingers in my ears the whole show. Several people complained and they did nothing. It was 60° inside and I wasshivering the whole time. Dinner was terrible, not as advertised, and late. Show itself was ok. Read more
