You may not hear this real often but the steak was by far much better than the sides were. The smashed potatoes were good, but... wouldn?t necessarily say they were great and the okra was marginally just OK. All that said, the steak was cooked perfectly, andwas very flavorful. This was sort of a last choice place to eat a full sit down dinner. This establishment did not disappoint. Service was... friendly and quick and attentive to my little one. Meals were served hot and were tasty. I enjoyed the Montana Burger. Thereis a children's menu with coloring pages. Decor was interesting with a fun vibe. Amazing food! They have complimentary peanuts and rolls. The rolls come out with honey and butter on the side, and they were... delicious. We had the onion blossom as an appetizer, then I had the Montana burger, and hubby had chicken fried chicken. ALL ofit was to die for! The only drawback is price. Nice atmosphere, great service, good selection of local beers on tap (I had Black Walnut which I liked a lot). Sadly, the steak... strips on my sirloin steak salad were tough and fatty and I was unable to eat most of them. We got in here yesterday before the evening rush. This place is almost always packed during peak hours and under weekends... especially. But they got a nice variety of food and drink. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress because she wasabsolutely wonderful. When whatever we were drinking ran low we didn't have to seek her out as she was right there and filledthe glass back to the top. And also stopped by the table several times to make sure everything was going okay. She was veryfriendly with a real positive attitude. We ordered and it came out in a timely manner and everything was made just away we askedfor. The place was clean and the parking lot was in order as well. Amazing staff!!! We called ahead of time to try to get a table as we'd been on the road all day, but they only do call ahead for... parties of 5 or more, there were only 4 of us. So instead they let me know about the Yelp wait-list feature and we did that! Wewere still about 20 min away from the restaurant and as we were pulling into the parking lot we were notified that our table wasready! It was amazing. I didn't even know that feature existed so thank you!! The food was fantastic, our server Taryn wasgreat!! So friendly and got all of our orders perfect. This is one of the few times in recent history that I've ordered a steakmed rare and it actually came out med rare. They are almost always way over cooked. But not this one.
