This place as it describes " best sea food" it has nothing, I ordered clam chowder and they were the worst ever not even close... to the way clam chowder should taste like. The burger that my son ordered was not tasty at all. So I ordered the fish and shipsand OMG that oil that the fish was fried it must have been a week old because it tasted really bad. That is the only reason whyI give it one star. . Read more

Just had their shrimp burrito. Lacked any kind of flavor. Shrimp tasked like it was boiled too long not grilled. Shrimp was... rubbery. I've never eaten at one of these places (SPFM) in my life where it lacked any kind of flavor. If you're gonna eathere. Their fired Shrimp tacos are better. Read more

I got the ceviche and boyfriend got the poboy. Ceviche was bland, had one small piece of avocado in it (with the peel on I might... add), and a finger length black hair in the middle. I'm not one to complain or write reviews but I had to on this one. Poboy wasnot worth the $17 price tag. Practically all batter and no meat. One good thing was the fries though. That's the 1 star. First visit! So glad that they're back in business. So, I ordered the fish and chips and sat outside, which was much quieter... than inside, and this was at 3:00pm. The fish was lightly battered, lightly salted, and tasty. I was happy to see that theyoffered malt vinegar as an alternative to tartar sauce, ketchup, or ranch. The coleslaw was decent and the chips were hot andsalty! Read more

Nice location and very good restaurant ambience. The customer service was excellent. My biggest concern was the food. SPFM is... famous for its fresh seafood, very much disappointed because the seafood was not so fresh. We ordered crispy calamari , crispyfish burrito ( both tasted amazing) and Super tray. The lobster was old and dry ,shrimp was good, fish was over chared andtasted bitter. Overall the tray tasted so different from original San Pedro fish market, it was very bland and under seasoned.I will definitely not visit again and waste my time and money. Read more

UPDATE 4-15-18 THEY OPENED TODAY!! The food is delicious. The Fish and Chips was made with fresh fish, not frozen flat slabs and... the Shrimp plate was the best we have had. Grilled zucchini and the calamari we're both awesome. See new pics below. //Original post: We just sampled their fish tacos at a Wine Walk event in the Peninsula Center. While they are not scheduled toopen until April 15th, I can say the food was fresh and delicious!!! The owners were there and are very nice. They clearlyunderstand the importance of great quality ingredients and service. This will be a great addition to the Palos VerdesPeninsula. Located next to MOD Pizza and across from Habbit. This will be a very good healthy option. Welcome to theneighborhood. Read more
