A local icon. Great salad bar. Good food. But the bar is the real hidden gem.

Worst meal and service we?ve ever had!! Waitress was rude and had a bad attitude. Never got our soups. We couldn?t eat our... dinner. I think the steak on the Open face steak sandwich was rotten. Had a spoiled metallic taste. And both turkey dinnerswere terrible. Stuffing was not cooked and turkey was most likely microwaved as it was like jerky. Waitress never came back toask how anything was. Our plates left our table as full as they were delivered. Will never be back!!!! Read more

The Chicken Riggies were very good, but I'm disappointed that the salad bar is gone (because of Covid)!! The salad bar was the... main reason why I patronized Coalyard Charlie's, but I'll still patronize your restaurant regardless!!! Hopefully you'llconsider bringing it back at some point, because other restaurants have self service salad bars, including Golden Corral! Overall...I enjoyed a very good meal!! Read more

I love Coalyard Charlie's! I try to order different things each time we go there, but one of my favorites if the philly cheese... steak! My fella usually orders fish, and that looks good, too. Last time, I ordered the grilled chicken salad, and it wasfantastic! So fresh, with a whole grilled chicken breast cut up in it, and the dressing was delicious, too. We have a favoritewaitress, she is so friendly and anticipates our needs. They have alcoholic drinks if you ask - I like a drink with my dinner,but my fella doesn't drink at all. They also have amazing desserts, but they are not pushy about sweets. I will tell you,though, that they peanut butter pie is awesome! Read more

Was not what we expected at all. The food was expensive for what it was. Taste like boxed food from the freezer section,made to... look homemade. Our waitress was very good and was on top of things. Drink menu limited. Would not go back. Read more

I love this restaurant. The food is very good and the prices are great. They sometimes close a little earlier than Google states... if it's dead so call ahead if you are planning to go around closing time maybe. Read more
