We love going to the Irish Tavern. The food is great, the ambiance is wonderful. Just learnt a little history about Romeo from... Mary today. Can't wait to attend the upstairs concerts (looking forward to seeing the Journey one...) Read more

We always sit at the bar if it's available. The bar staff was ontop of our drinks, the food came quick even though they were... fairly busy. The black bean garbanzo veggie burger was awesome! Nice place to visit. Read more

We walked in and sat down a party of 6. No staff out on the floor. The bartender didn't great us from behind the bar or inform... any floor staff we had arived.. After 20min we saw a waitress who almost got away except my daughter spotted her and hollered .Mind you this place was not busy. Anyway moving on placed our order for drinks and food right away waited another 10-15min forour drinks and 40 min for our pizza & salad. The food Our salad had more cheese and bacon than lettuce. To the point it wasactually like can you dig me some lettuce out, oh there isn't any. Hmm Pizzas came out and they were just as disappointing asthe salad , the toppings were uneven, the pizza was undercooked. Highly disappointing!! Read more

I would give this place a 10. My wife and I were at the Peach Fest on Saturday and as we walked past here, I said I wanted to... see the menu on the window. We normally eat in the vendor area, but I said we should try eating here. Boy are we glad we did. Ipass here alot because I work in Romeo. The food was delicious and our server Fryda was great. She kept checking on us andbringing water and pop refills. We will definitely be back. Read more

TLDR only drink beer from bottles and food is hit or miss. Staff are usually friendly but can be slow. I write this review out... of love. I've lived in the immediate area for two years now. This is one of the few restaurants around and I desperately wantit to be good. It has a prime location in downtown Romeo and could be an attraction. Instead it's one of the few places to eatout of desperation. I've gone 4-5 times in two years and ordered 7-8 different beers on tap. Every time tap beer is flat. Todaymy wife's beer had floating debris in it. I'm not a bar expert but something is wrong with the taps. They need to be cleaned orfixed, it's pretty gross and makes me wonder what the kitchen may look like. On a happier note, my draught Guinness was goodtoday, but a bar shouldn't have a 1 out of 8 success rate on beer. This is a pub, the easiest thing to get right is the beershipped to you by distributors who make the beer. Food is hit or miss depending on what you order. Pizza and fish and chipswere good, although the fries were boring. Burgers are decent. Most other things I've ordered had been decent, but nothing Iwould go out of my way to order. Please fix your taps! Read more

I've eaten here many times. Always reliably ordinary, plain, average, etc. Last night, the fried perch was plumped-up with... batter, a la ordinary fish-and-chips. Disappointing. But not bad. Definitely serviceable. And the appetizer---the nachos---werebland, dry, decidedly UN-appetizing. Again, not BAD, but not good either. Go to Thee Office Pub instead, which is better. Read more

You have to try the cowboy mac&cheese plate with pulled pork and fried onion. Good quality and a full plate. I have got also... French fries but I was already stuffed with the Mac plate. The personnel is kind and fast. Read more
