What a fabulous restaurant this was. We got the combination platter and it was all incredibly wonderful. I usually don't like... sausage but it had such a good flavor and it was not fatty. Count me in. The ribs were delicious the barbecue pulled pork withthe sweet sauce was to die for and the brisket was pretty good. Homemade coleslaw rounded it out. Can't wait to come back Read more

As former Texans, we had high expectations with a place that had a Texas flag flying and yellow Shiner Bock umbrellas over the... patio picnic tables. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The food was good (but we have other barbecue joints closer tohome with the same or better food and lower prices). The prices were high, $68 to feed our family of four (but don't complain -the sign on the wall says not to complain unless we want to go to the McDonald's down the road). Other challenges: the onlydrinks available were Pepsi products in plastic bottles; the potato salad was not my favorite; a kids menu with appropriateportions and prices would have been helpful; and we we were charged a 3.5% credit card fee without advance warning. Smoked BBQ meatballs are really good. Pulled pork sandwich is excellent. I did not care for the Mexican street corn, potato... salad, or the ruben. The pulled pork is so flavorful, you don't need to add BBQ sauce if you don't want to. The food is freshand you don't wait very long. Will definitely go back soon! Read more

I ordered burnt ends, Mac and cheese with Brisket, and peach cobbler and I have to say all was good except the peace cobbler. It... is literally just peaches and CHUCKS of cinnamon. It was so disgusting. Please do not waste your money. It was about $35 foreverything. So pricey but the meat was great. Get bbq sauce on the side also! Read more

1/2 of Pastrami was sliced for a sandwich not sliced for serving, lips were burning from salt.. way too salty, salt cured then... salt in the rub = way too much salt, also leads to dry pastrami. Very very far from authentic Texas bbq. I would try thebrisket next time.. but there won?t be a next time. Don?t put it on the menu if you don?t know how to make it. May alsoexplain why I?m the only person in here at lunch time during the week. Read more
