The atmosphere is lively and the servers were kind with pretty bubbly personalities. This made for a great atmosphere where... trains are the theme. The service was quick and the food was very good. Please be careful though, the spaces are a bit tightwalking around there and I even cut my arm on a glass shelf that's a bit too close to the stairs. Read more
Super cute! Breakfast is standard fair but very good. We had eggs, bacon, sausages (they were so fat! And links), homefries, and... toast - you can even have an English muffin or rye! But, no biscuits and gravy, in case you were wondering. The blue ribboncrumb cake is seriously not to be missed. What I thought was going to come out and what we got were light years apart. Thedessert was light, creamy, crunchy with sugar bits on top, served over a delicious tart raspberry sauce. Go for the cake! Read more
Very cool that the restaurant is a railroad car. That's cool. It's bad because tight quarters. All noise echos. Family behind us... was very loud. Kids screeching, woman cackling. The food wad sub par. The alfredo sauce left a bad taste in your mouth, theirspeciality dish, Shepard's pie, was bland. Had to add a lot of salt. Truthfully I had frozen Shepard's pie that wad 10 timesbetter. Hamburger wad over cooked. Kids liked their spaghetti and meatballs. The service was very good. There was a 20 minutewait to very a seat. On the grounds there is the caboose motel which is pretty cool. Your hotel room is a converted train car.Also there is a pressing zoo on grounds and buggy rides are available. I would definitely stay in one of those rooms oneday. Little fun train themed diner. Service was good. Food was average for a diner but priced like a higher end restaurant. Overall... good experience but because of the price to quality ratio I am only giving 4 stars. Lots of other unique family things to do onthe same property so worth a stop! Read more
Red Caboose Motel and Casey Jones Restaurant. Very unusual place. We did not stay overnight here but may in the future. Looks... very well kept. We did have lunch here and the food was better that the pictures - we ate 1/2 of it before thinking to take foodpictures. Oh well! Worth a stop to see the gift shop and have a bite to eat after a ride on the Strasburg Rail Road Train. Read more
I loved my experience at Casey Jones restaurant. Seating is arranged as if you were in a train car (the whole area hotel and... restaurant is train related.) The service was flawless, quick, friendly and helpful. My food was excellent. Perfect portionsize and flavor. ????? Easy parking, it has a petting zoo, a real train runs by next to restaurant and makes your restaurantexperience feel like you are traveling. Overall I had an amazing time! ???? Read more
The food was AMAZING!! The service was personal, the waitres was soo sweet, and personal, felt like I knew her all my life.... Loved eating in an old train, atmosphere was amazing. Great price and you get a lot for the amount you pay, great; friendlyservice, and they even made me a special drink that was awesome!! Great place to visit. We will be back. Read more
I love this little fun train theme diner in Lancaster Pa. Food are great, good experience and fun day with friend. Love eating... in an old train. The Strasberg railroad is passing next to the restaurant. Price were decent. They have pretty gift shop inside. Recomendable 100% Read more
