Been going here for Breakfast for 10 years (maybe dinner twice). We always make this our first stop when we arrive in Lancaster,... our vacation doesn?t start till breakfast here lol we always do the buffet and never leave hungry (often need a nap afterwardslol) I know eggs are eggs but their scrambled eggs are cooked perfect, bacon always cooked right, potato?s are great ? lovetheir hot oatmeal ???? the only issue I would say is sometimes you have to wait for white toast otherwise everything is alwaysthere. The waitress is always pleasant & friendly, used plates are taken immediately from the table, coffee always beingrefilled ? and you can?t beat the price! I?m more of a breakfast person when it comes to smorgasbords so as I?m sure theirdinner is pleasing to others (my cousin LOVES it) I wasn?t as thrilled with the selections ? and that likely is cause I?msomewhat a picky eater so I DEFINATELY recommend Dienners for all your meals !!!! Be aware! This place is marketed by the Amish bus tour. My experience of the place on 4/12/2022 is as follows. We entered and... the place is not appetizing and more like a quick put together place, but there are lots of people inside and obviously this isa sign of good food. First, this is a buffet, with not so many dishes, but enough for such restaurant. The actual waitresses areattentive and remove plates instantaneously from the table after eating. However, the pricing structure wasn't explained to usand we ended up paying $75. This place is not worth$75, it's like the McDonald's of the Dutch cuisine. However, my main problemwas quality. The Dutch cuisine is meant to be pure, excellent taste, excellent quality, home cooked, and having a great texture.This place is not nearly as good as it looks or as good as it was marketed and seemed like the bus tour agency has some stake onthe restaurant because it was announced twice and we saw quite a few people from the bus inside the restaurant. The best oftheir food was streamed broccoli (no joke). All plates were horrible and somehow they managed to screw them up. The meat cut incubes had a disgusting demi glace, the ham tasted like water, the other meat was another kind of ham and tasted like it wasfried with chicken oil. Their mashed potatoes are quite liquid and possibly made with water and butter (instead of milk)...Disgusting! Then Luna baked beans have this sauce that you can't taste anything afterwards. Their spaghetti was great, butlacked a bit flavor. For what I've seen in other people's reviews the same menu is served, thus they should be masters cookingthis food, yet there is so much to master. Note that i was tricked into this kind of food by the router agency so that wasproclaimed to be "German food" (and I even asked how are their schnitzels with the reply of really good but there are nonebecause it's not an actual German restaurant), which is actually PA Dutch food, but tastes nothing like it. Food was good. Stocked quite often. Salad bar was okay. Food were hand made. Feel as tho could have more meat. Meatloaf, Ham,... Prime tips with gravy, chicken. Plenty of vegetables and standard sides. Plenty of dessert. Read more
This place is awesome. This food is amazing and I?m almost a hundred percent sure it?s all homemade or homegrown, no canned or... store bought food. I would definitely recommend coming here if you?re near by and are hungry. You will not be disappointed! Read more
Wow! Pristine place. A buffet of American dishes. Meat loaf and rotisserie chicken (which was juicy fantastic!) Amazing fresh... salad bar and delicious desserts. Service is top notch. Note the place gets busy! So arrive with plenty of time (you might wait5 minutes depending on size of your party). A green and red card "a la Brazilian steakhouse " is a great way to let server thatyou are still working on it while you refill ???? Plenty parking in the back. Found this place on google. Very clean and spacious restaurant, plenty of parking out back. We came on a Wednesday morning to... try out their breakfast buffet. Food was good, reasonably priced. Just under $10 for 12+ and 0.77 cents for 3-11. Juice is notincluded in the pricing but tea and coffee is. The bacon, eggs, home fries were delicious. Not very big selection but generallyeverything you could want for breakfast, grits, oatmeal, pancakes, French toast, sausages, some baked goods such as sticky buns,yogurt, pies and such. Only con was the service was a little slow when we arrived and waited for someone to seat us, as itwasn?t that busy at the time. But our server was very friendly. Waited about 40 minutes on Sat 2 pm. Soup was delicious, salads was fresh, hot foods were tasty, desert was not sweet so I feel... healthier. Love this place! Read more
