I've eaten here several times and every time the service has been fantastic. Most of everything I've had has been great except... for the country style steak. It was more of a Salisbury steak and a very bland one at that. The lemon blueberry pie is amazingthough. Read more
Stopped at Rose Hill on our way home from vacationing at Holden Beach for an early lunch. Our party of 8 was seated immediately,... and we we?re welcomed by I?m assuming the owner. She recommended chicken tenders for the kids, seafood and their BBQ Chicken.The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. The kind of place you could have a date night or a family outing. We ordered hushpuppies for the table, they were very good and there were enough for everyone to have a couple. The chicken tenders werehomemade and lightly fried and fries were crispy. My husband ordered crab cakes, they were nicely seared and tender. I orderedthe BBQ chicken, baked sweet potato and turnip greens, chicken was fall off the bone tender and the sides were both very good.My dad ordered fried shrimp and commented how nicely fried they were. Not heavy on the breading and melt in your mouth good! Mymom ordered a burger and said it was very good. We decided to order two slices of pie to share, lemon blueberry pie and key limecake. Both were very good but the lemon blueberry was the crowd favorite with the mile high merengue! The service staff werefriendly and accommodating. The bathrooms were extremely clean. Food was great but portions are small for the cost of an out of the way country restaurant. Had to pay a convenience fee to pay... due to there new covid rules that should not be the customers responsibility they charge enough for the meals to cover thereoperating expenses. This fee is not advertised until time to pay. Odd in my opinion. Read more

Really good food and family atmosphere. No TV's showing sports, fancy lighting, or music. Just a normal at home feeling with... great food. I normally drown my fries in ketchup, or add tons of some kind of condiment to my food but not here. Everything wasjust perfect, didn't even add salt. We had a company Christmas party there with ONE server handling all of us and she didn'tmiss a beat. No mistakes and didn't hear a single complaint from anyone. Had a small electric fireplace going and simple xmasdecorations that just made me super comfortable and feel at home. Prices are average, around $12 to $15 for a plate but food isabove average.
