Service was great. I liked the beer and cider. However, the food was the worst restaurant food I've ever had. My wife had a... California Sandwich. The bread was cold, dry and stale. I had a French Dip. The meat was lukewarm and flavorless, the onionswere undercooked and the Au jus was greasy and flavorless. The high point were the fries. The staff was friendly, but sadly some of the food was less than enjoyable. The pretzel sticks were good, but overpriced at $10... for only 3 sticks. My friend said the mushroom garden burger had very little taste. My California sandwich might have been goodexcept for the overly dry bread. Read more
I had the True North IPA which was well done and for lunch had the patty melt. Good quality and decent portion of sweet potato... fries. Not over the top but very good. Service was great. I would rate a 4.5 Read more
My family and I wanted to go out "somewhere different" after a LONG day of moving my parents into a new home. We found North 40... on line and decided to try them. What a cool place! It has a very wonderful atmosphere as soon as you walk in! It had a great band playing. The service was stellar for it being a... very happening and busy place, food and drink orders were out in a very timely fashion! I'll be coming back regularly! First-off, north Forty Has a well designed loft that allows you to look over the whole place and down into the brewing area. The... styling of the place is really creative, with the solid steel & wood construction of both the tables and chairs gives it aunique charm/ rustic look. Although the chairs n' tables are really heavy and can hard to lift with one arm on your first take.(they're much heavier than they look, haha). The staff, bartender, and the owners of the establishment are quite friendly.Really nothing bad about the place only there's temporarily no stout ( mostly because they just opened). It's awesome thatthey're hosting real rock on opening night, and I hope they continue to have events like this in the future. Really a homey andrustic brewery, with a special atmosphere of its own like any well worth bar. Read more
