Long wait for food to be brought out chips were stale. Ordered sweet tea. Three glass brought to table was good but was offered... to go cup, after we left I took a sip. It tasted sour. My husband's plate was poor tasting. Mine was mediocre at best. Itdidn't appear to be short staffed but I don't know how many were actually in the kitchen. Many servers were there. Not busyeither. LaCarretas in Amite has the WORST service I?ve ever had. My friends and I came to celebrate a birthday which should be a fun... time however, we left unhappy and unsatisfied. We only saw our waiter TWICE during the 2 hour time period we were here. We hadto go inside several times to get refills, our checks, salsa, etc?. The servers were rude and never brought out the items weasked for. They got our orders wrong, it took 30 mins to get three drinks, and an hour to get our checks when finally we justwent inside to let someone know that we still existed. It was a very slow night too so there was no excuse and plenty of staff.I?m usually not a complainer but I?ve never experienced such disregard for customers. Read more
