From the moment you walk in the door you are met with authentic Mexican decor, authentic Live Mexican music. The drinks were... great and reasonably priced. The appetizer was delicious so fresh. As if things couldn't get much better, dinner arrived...Every ingredient was fresh it was like a visit to taste town in our mouths. And unbeatable service.. Went to try the food looking at so many reviews.. Placed smlled bad.. first feeling itself was No.. In one word the taste of... the food was YUCKY!! I took one bite from the Enchiladas and left the food as is.. My boys left the food uneaten as well.. Horchata drink was mediocre ... Guac was bland in taste.. had to add salt from top.. I could make Guac better....Chips were allOily and the food smelled horrible.. I left the place with the boys coming home and cooking on their own.. Waste of Time, Moneyand Horrible Experience.. The Best! When we lived nearby we used to dine here 2 or 3 times a month, sometimes more. Now that we live an hour away near... Rockford, we have started coming here once a month, but it is worth the drive even with high gas prices. First, the staff isfriendly and provides excellent service. Second, the food is great, starting with their crispy, warm tortilla chips and salsaand including all of their appetizers and main dishes. They even provide free dessert (won't spoil the surprise). If you arelooking for excellent Mexican food at reasonable prices this is the place to go. Read more
This was by far the best Mexican restaurant I?ve eaten at. We were quickly greeted by our server who had the most angelic and... beautiful voice. The complimentary chips and salsa were amazing, and after we asked for a salsa refill they generously brought abig bowl of it for us. The food was like being wrapped in a warm hug by Roselle herself. I got a steak burrito that cooked andprepared perfectly. The staff checked on us often, asking if everything was alright and always refilling our water before it ranout. After that point I would?ve already given a 5 star review, but then they brought us a delicious dessert!! I wish I couldgive more stars for the amazing hospitality. Absolutely amazing experience. Drive pass several times a day for decades and this was our first stop! what a wonderful... experience. Combinacion uno was more than enough for two. then dessert showed up! Tall margaritas! mmmm mmmm good! Read more

Wonderful service! Our waiter was very friendly and informative! They do a nice job of explaining everything on the menu. They... have staff that are right on top of taking your empty dishes and filling your water. The margaritas were tasty, and the flanksteak was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The taco meats (shredded beef and pork) could have been seasoned more because theytasted very bland. Read more
