This was my first time here. Food was great and would love to go back there soon.
Went here for an impromptu dinner date with my wife. My family has been recommending this place to me. Food was ok and service... could have been better. This visit was when ?they? opened up things but still had mask restrictions. Will do another visitsoon to see if things have improved. Much better Mexican restaurants in the area. Food was very bland. Guacamole was nothing more than mashed avocados. Service was... ok though. Sangria tasted like cough syrup. Read more

It used to be really good. I went in on a Saturday with my sons for dinner. We waited 6 mins until a server came up to us at the... table. We all ordered simple dishes. Two out of the three dishes were wrong. The food was all cold. Tacos. The margaritas arejust ice and water. The glass is frozen already why add a lot of ice? My son asked for a drink refill and they don?t do refills.There were so many dirty empty glasses on the bar area waiting to be cleaned. When we were waiting to ask for a check it tookanother 10 mins. There were only four other families there when I went in but the servers looked like it was a full houserunning around. I didn?t understand it. Not going to waste money going here anymore when there are so many other Mexican placesaround the area. Read more

Went in with high expectations due to the reviews, was rather disappointed. The chips are both hard and chewy at the same time,... and the jalapeños don't have much heat at all, must not be fresh. The refried beans are rather gummy as well. Vegetable tacosweren't that bad, though. Given the prices I expected more but was disappointed. Seems like a place you go to more for theatmosphere, however it's typically empty. Sammy's is fine if you want bar food and Americanized Mexican, but go elsewhere forauthenticity. Read more
