My wife and I were hoping this could become our new local "go-to" after recently moving to Bloomingdale and we had extremely... high hopes after reading such great reviews. However, we were unpleasantly surprised with how disappointing this restaurant wasafter visiting. When making my reservation I was asked if we would be celebrating a special occasion during our visit. I thoughtthis was very nice to ask since yes, we would be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary. Not one time during our visit was asingle thing mentioned about our anniversary, so why even ask to begin with. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night whichis to be expected and we were finally seated for our 730pm reservation at 747pm. A party of 4 standing in the entrance when wegot there at 728pm still had yet to be seated for their 7pm reservation and decided to just leave. My wife and I ended up beingseated in the upstairs area which felt like it wasn't even part of the restaurant. The live entertainment was just bad and muchtoo loud so we were actually happy at that point to have been seated away from the noise since we wanted to have a quiet, romantic night. This is not the place for that. We were the youngest people there by far. Definitely an over 60 crowd here. Weordered an appetizer which arrived quickly and was pretty good. We then ordered our meals, after flagging down our waitress. Then we waited... and waited... and waited for an hour and 15 minutes for our PASTA to arrive. Yes, just pasta. No specialrequests or dietary restrictions, just noodles with sauce. Which ended up not even being that good at all or worth the wait. Imake better homemade sauce in my home kitchen, and I'm Polish. Our waitress never once came to our table in the over an hour ittook to get our food to even give us an update about why it was taking so long. Unfortunately, we will not visit here again, which we were actually quite bummed about after having such high hopes. Read more

I really don't understand restaurants where you stand there, all the staff clearly see you there but not one person recognizes... your presence. If they are busy, a simple, "we will be right there with you..." would suffice. I guess they have enough thingsto do that they don't need our money. Maybe we will try again later and maybe we will get seen. I am writing this review aboutto eat pasta at noodles and company. At least they said hello. Read more

Yummy and authentic! This food definitely resembles or just is the same food you can get in Rome, Naples, and Capri! Just went... there for a family reunion, and every bite was delicious! The service was great too. The waitstaff seemed experienced. Theywere so gracious, attentive, and helpful, which was important for such a diverse group of people! I really enjoyed it, and Iintend to go back. I recommend the “pizza bread” (not sure the real name), the calamari, the chicken parmigiana, and thecaesar salad. (Please forgive the misspellings). First, the food was very good. I especially loved the minestrone soup. Service was definitely on the slow side even when they... aren't busy. Unfortunately, what really bothered me was watching my food be delivered to another customer. They brought twodishes out to him (both for our table). They asked the customer if he had the "Jalapeno" and he said yes but no to the otherdish. They walk back my cousin's dish to the kitchen. I'm wondering a few different things at this point. Are they going to holdmy cousin's dish while they make me a new one? Did that guy order the exact same thing as me? Nope, after a minute, anotherwaitress came and took the plate from him and brought it to the kitchen and out comes my dish with my cousin's dish. If youtake your eyes off my plate in front of another customer, you should absolutely make a new dish for me. I was so busy watchingthe servers, I didn't take note if the other customer ate or tasted anything off my plate. Absolutely wild. It speaks volumes towhat you find acceptable and I can not support that kind of business practice. I will not be back. Read more

Amazing food and service! Hands down the best Italian restaurant around! They give you compliments bread/pizza bread, olives,... and sun dried tomato spread to start. Then they give you lemon sorbet before your meal to cleanse your palette. I can't sayenough how much I love this place! Read more

It was yum! The bread/ pizza bread before they bring in the apps/ food were delicious. They bring in lemon gelato (or italian... ice) in between meals to help wipe the taste from the previous meal and start fresh with the next one. Pretty cool concept! Ihad the create your own pasta, which was neat. You chose your style pasta, sauce, veggies, protein. My friend had the chickenparmesan! For dessert- lots of sorbet with mixed berries! Read more

Talk about gem! WONDERFUL food! Staff is very nice! I'm very picky about calamari, theirs is delightful! The bread, olives,... olive oil, and cheese on the table is great. One of my dishes is the lasagna. Seems simple...but their lasagna is one of thebest I've had at a restaurant! Read more

First time. Five of us dined together. We had Ravioli, Lasagna, Chicken Marsala. A white fish and a veal dish. Everyone was very... pleased with their meals. Sampled 5 desserts and liked all of them as well. This was a Friday night and there was a singerentertaining us the entire 3 hours we were there. His name was Jeorge Holmes and he had a beautiful tenor voice and an engagingpersonality. Beto provided us with attentive first class service with the help of several support staff members. There is a fullbar here that made good drinks. Read more
