Wish I can give negative stars. Speaking to the manager will not make a difference so that?s not a solution. Do not even bother... going here. KEEP AWAY FROM STEPHANIES BBQ IN Roselle Park. This place is an absolute disgust when dealing with the staff. Theyare extremely rude with lack of customer service. The lady rudely yelled at me ?I said I can?t hear you? on the phone becauseshe was not able to hear me. Then proceeded I didn?t have to repeat my order because in a rude tone with bad attitude ?I knowwhat it is I work here?. I told her to be more kind to her customers and her excuse was because she could not hear me. Wecancelled the order. We now order from Costas BBQand Backyard Grill - the people at both costas and backyard grill are superfriendly and know what it means to run a restaurant with their wonderful customer service - which is what breaks or makes abusiness. DO NOT GO TO STEPHANIE?s BBQ they do not treat their customers with respect. We were going to order there out ofconvenience due to being close by - but The food is not the best - their chicken are smaller and smaller and starting to tastelike rubber. My kids didn't even touch the food, the meat was burned black like charcoal and the French fries was greasy as if the same oil... was used all day. The food in general was nasty! Do not order from this location!! they're extremely rude!! I ordered a beef ribs (plural) and a chicken combo with with rice and beans. I received just one (single) beef rib with rice... and french fries. The food was tasteless and greasy And the empanada was extremely greasy and soggy. Read more

For years we?ve gotten Portuguese bbq from here - that was until we found a piece of metal in our food! It was very brittle and... breaking apart as well which has me a bit freaked out since our three year old daughter ate some with us before we discoveredthe piece of metal. We tried calling in an order, but they couldn?t understand us. No problem, we went inside and placed an order, they said 15... minutes. 15 min turned into 25. They said 1 more minute when we checked in. Then 25 min turned into 40. We checked in again,they said we didn?t even order. So we left. ??????????? The place is a small, mom&pop shop type of establishment that is specialized in BBQ in a simple but tasty way. Not much of sauce... selections or meat marinated in fancy or exotic ingredients. Just good old fashion salt and black pepper, grilled distant enoughfrom flames so you can have the best flavor possible from the meats. I?ve beef and pork ribs, but they also have chicken,sausages and fresh deep fried empanadas (that?s what they call it, but in Brazil or Portugal, it?s called pastel). By the way,the US and Portugal flags outside make you believe that once you?re stepping in, the greeting will come in Anglo/Luso way, butthe chefs are not from that side of Europe whatsoever, so don?t be surprised. But that doesn?t mean that food quality wasaffected negatively. My dish came out deliciously flavorful enough to make me leave the place absolutely satisfied and eager towrite them this recommended. I?m very skeptical about where to write about, so if I dedicated my extra time to share anexperience with the world, it?s because it worth the time spent, either because it was awful and people need to know about, orif it?s excellent, as this place that totally deserve a visit. Now, having said all that, here are a few things to keep in mind:if you wanted to have the food for your family, just give them a call and order for take out. It?s not very family friendlybecause it?s too small to have more than 2 people together eating and talking comfortably. Also, because of the limited spaceand closeness to the grill, the place felt warm, but due to the great exhaustion system they have, you won?t leave the placesmelling like you?re also grilling in there as well.
