A+++ restaurant! Start with the free valet. A “Happy Anniversary” greeting by the hostesses and waiter. Best Old Fashioned... I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. The waiter showed us all the different cuts of beef and the crab legs and lobster tail.Every single person greeted us with some form of hello/goodbye. Normally I would eat in the bar or restaurant but got a to go order (through mobile online order via Google). The Prime Ribeye... Steak Sandwich exceeded my expectation. It’s an incredible value with the flavors all blending well in this well builtsandwich. Also, the shoestring fries were crispy! Thank you for not over salting / seasoning your meals! Bravo. Read more
Came here for dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I recommend making reservations as this location always seems busy. ... Everyone was pleasant. Edgar took very good care of us. It is always a pleasure to see Mr. Brown, and he stopped by our tableto welcome us and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our evening. Had a nice evening at Gibson's Steakhouse in Rosemont. We were greeted by the hostess, the bartender as well as the waitress.... Very welcoming environment. Before going to our booth for dinner we decided to go to the bar and try a drink or two. The bararea was very nice. Had a great vibe and the bartender was very professional. After our drinks, we went to our booth and wasgreeted by the waitress who was very knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat, the fish and the other seafood entrees. Shebrought out a tray of different meats and seafood and explained the different ways that they were prepared and aged. I decidedto have the ribeye and my wife selected the marinated skirt steak. Both were delicious. The ribeye seasoned very nicely. We alsodecided to order some sides. Our first side was the mushrooms which were terrific. Very flavorful and the second side was thecreamed spinach which was a little to soupy for my taste. Overall I have to say it was a wonderful time and a terrificrestaurant. I came here with my family about 4 years ago, and it was awesome, so I decided to take my fiancé there well we were in Chicago... area. But the experience this time was not on par with what I had last time. Now, not everything was bad and they were packed,so it's understandable if not everything came out perfect. But the steak we had was grilled on high flames and was on the vergeof being charred. We were thinking about sending the dish back, but decided to just eat what we can, since we had a two and ahalf hour drive back. The asparagus were decent. Some over cooked, but some cooked right. The miso marinated Chilean sea basswas WONDERFUL!!! Although, we felt the jumbo crab cake was the star of the show. Perfectly flavored and tender. The sauce wasperfect, but not necessary. Read more
Great atmosphere with delicious food for each course, with very healthy portions. Went on a date night with my fiance and we... loved the whole experience and plan on coming back when we're in Chicago next! Shout out to our server Alonso!
