I only gave 3 stars because of the food. The actual restaurant itself is beautiful, no complaints there. My food was very salty!... I ordered steak, and truffle fries. When I took my first bite of steak, all I tasted was pepper. As I continued to eat it, itbecame extremely salty. My fries were very salty also. That was my first time have truffles so I didn't know what to expect. Istill don't know, because all I tasted was salt. The staff was very well dressed, overall environment was perfect. Our waiterseemed like he was always rushing me though. I felt rushed to order, rushed to pay, he wasn't welcoming. Don't recall if I eversaw a smile from him. Read more
This steakhouse is wonderful. I had Jennifer as my sever and she was amazing. I told them it was my boyfriends birthday in the... notes and they gave him a birthday card and confetti on the table. I also requested a booth in the notes and that’s what I wasgiven. Our experience was perfect… the steak was cooked perfect. The complimentary pumpernickel bread was really tasty. Wedidn’t have to ask for not one thing our entire dinner. They really take care of their customers. I went on a Monday at 5:15pmso if that helps… there was plenty of seats even though we made reservations anyway. I recommend going around that time on aweekday to get the best experience and the music was at a perfect volume. Still in awe of our experience last night for dinner. The service was impeccable and the food was superb. I don’t think I’ve... eaten at a better restaurant in my entire life. So we had a small family thing for Mom's birthday. Capital was very warm and welcoming, we got a nice private room for our... gathering. We started with some signature cocktails, "in fashion" and "blackberry bourbon" (which I highly recommend). Ordereda few starters, tuna tartare, calamari and burrata salad all very good choices. No one at the table really stepped outside thebox for dinner (Filet Mignons) around mostly, then there was me... Let me tell you about this "Mint &Honey Lamb Chops"???????????? look after drinks and app I wasn't that hungry, but I had to sink my teeth into these well prepared medium raredelicious hunks of meat. My mouth is watering just writing this review a week(?) Later now. Okay, enough of that, so there werealso sides, Lobster Mac is seriously the only side you need but if you're not into that ( and you should be) there was also AuGratin potatos, brussel sprouts (surprisingly good) and creamed spinach. If you're still reading at this point, good for you...Maybe my most detailed post ever????... We had some after dinner drinks, Expresso Martinis and some special inside pineappleconcoction that takes a week to make... Both very good like everything else this far. Recently tried this place for the first time ever on Valentine's Day and both my wife & I had a wonderful evening out. When I... made the reservation with Open Table, there was no indication that proof of vaccination was required prior to being seated. Mywife & I are both vaccinated but weren't exactly "prepped" to show proof when we confronted the host. Located right in front ofthe Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel, this sophisticated steakhouse boasts a relatively limited menu but with an extensivewine/cocktail list. Setting is both elegant & romantic, food was superb and less expensive than Ruth's Chris & Fleming's andthe service was nothing short of spectacular. Great service from very knowledgeable staff, as always. Food is always delicious. The soups to the steaks to the desserts will... blow your palette away. Meals plentiful and as expected to taste. Even though it was crowded for a Tuesday night, they wentout of their way to make the night special. Complimentary valet makes parking in Rosemont almost as great as the meal. Read more
