It's a hotel bar that's between the pool and a hallway, long and narrow. When the kids are screaming in the pool you definitely... hear it in the bar. I have no idea why it's called visibility, there's no views, except for an interior hallway of the hotel. Read more

As far as categories go and hotel reward programs I am Silver with Marriott, Diamond with Hilton, Platinum with Hyatt, Gold for... life with SPG, and Spire with IHG. This is not my first rodeo. I checked into the Crowne Plaza, great staff at the front. Veryknowledgeable, attentive and professional. I was upgraded due to my status to a suite. Thank you. I was even given a drinkcoupon for a free beverage. Thank you. I went to the bar, the male wait staff came over and he asked what I would like. I saidI would need a menu. He gave me one. He came back with a pen and paper and asked what I would like. I said a Stella beer. Hebegan to walk away. I said I wanted to put my food order in as well. He ignored me. He heard me which is evident by his commentlater. He went behind the bar (I was at a table), and poured a Stella and a few other drinks. He came back around and deliveredthe other drinks to a couple of couples also at tables. Four minutes went by (now count to yourself for four minutes and see howlong it is). He then brought my beer to me. He left again then turned back and asked for my food order. I told him I forgot, Iknew earlier but he walked away. I said I wanted to put my food and drink order in together. I asked why he ignored me earlierand walked away. He said he was very busy and didn't have the time to take my order. I stood up and told him I would take mybusiness and money elsewhere. I stated that he was being unprofessional, I expected better and I thought he was a jerk. Heactually said "I think the same thing of you". I went next door to the Doubletree Hotel and had a pleasant experience. Agentleman and a lady at the bar (not together but two separate patrons) heard me tell the bartender what I experienced. Theysaid they were staying at the Crowne Plaza as well and prefer to come to the Doubletree for dinner and drinks due to the rudestaff at the Crowne Plaza bar/restaurant. Read more
Drinks and food were good, service was static but place was crowded.
Better, IMO, than the 3.3 it currently has. It's got the usual spotty service you expect from most hotel bars but their beer... selection is good (if not spectacular) and their food menu is solid as well. I still miss the old Rickenbacker's, though. Read more
