We drove about an hour and a half round trip to try Gino's, and it did not disappoint. The building itself has a lot of... character and charm, which I loved. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent NY style. They were super busy on Fridaynight, which was not at all surprising. Although the menu has a lot of items I would normally try at another Italian restaurant,the pizza was so good, I don't know if I will get to try any of it in the future. We will definitely go back. Prices were veryreasonable as well. Oh I forgot. We also ordered the truffle fries, which came with like a lemon aoili. Great pizza and great atmosphere! The inside was packed on a Friday night, but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening... soaking up the small town view. We got the truffle fries along with a pepperoni pizza. The fries were good and the aioli addedthe perfect citris bite to cut through the truffle. The pizza was great, and exactly what I expected from a NY style pie. I willdefinitely make the drive again! Read more
Love this place. Incredible food and an incredible family that owns it. The atmosphere is very welcoming and feels like you?re... at home in your own dining room. Some of the best pizza I've had in the Houston area. Staff is super friendly and has it all together to meet or needs. I do not... give 5 star ratings often but felt this deserved it. I think they will need a bigger place soon! Read more
This is the place my wife has been waiting on since she moved here from the east coast. She says it's the best pizza this side... of the Brooklyn Bridge and I agree. I've been on a quest to satisfy her pizza cravings, and I've finally found it and luckily welive 10 minutes away. Everything here is amazing from the pizza to the sandwiches to the cookies. The owners are so nice andwelcoming, they always remember us and make us feel right at home! Ask for your pizza extra crispy if you truly love NYC stylepizza. Read more
I feel like everyone should know about this place! I forgot to take photos of the pizza, probably because I was stuffing my... face, but they?re huge, thin and crusted to perfection. We had the truffle fries, too, and the only thing I?ll say about thoseis I was on a diet and now I?m not. Even scored some baked goodies! Ordered the meatball sandwich along with the truffle fries. Got a brownie and white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie. All of... it was excellent. The staff was very friendly, and the overall experience was superb. Definitely coming back! I hear the pizzais great, saw several people walking out with them, so looks like that?s the next try here.
