Maricruz is extremely rude to anyone who doesn?t look Hispanic. I went to order barbacoa at the food counter and they told me I... had to pay at the register first. When I went to the register where Maricruz rudely explained in Spanish I have to order at thefood counter. When I explained to her the food counter sent me to the registers she ignored me and told me my total. When I wentback to pay for the barbacoa she was the only register open so I had no choice to go back to her lane. She grabbed my food andthrew in a bag and then threw the bag at me. When I asked for her name she ignored me. I asked her if she had a problem with meand she ignored me. It wasn?t until I saw her name on the computer and took a photo of the customer complaint number that shelooked at me. On Top of it all she was not wearing her mask properly. Just cus my skin is light does not mean I?m white. Ichecked her in Spanish and she seemed startled and surprised I knew Spanish. This is not the first time she was rude towards meor a family member. MARICRUZ NEEDS TO BE FIRED. SHE CANT EVEN FOLLOW COVID GUIDLINES OR BE NICE TO CUSTOMERS OR EVEN HANDLE OURFOOD CORRECTLY. Read more

If only I could give zero stars. My boyfriend and I are very cultural and like to explore other cultures and foods. We love... barbacoa and decided to try and make it ourselves. Barbacoa is a very long process and we were very excited to see how it turnedout. Went to the meat market and the guy behind the counter was very rude. Acted like he didn?t want to help at all and spoketo his coworker behind the counter as if I couldn?t understand completely. I know enough to understand whether someone istalking negatively. He first said he did not have the meat for barbacoa. Then I asked once more that he did not have the meat tocook it to make sure we were on the same page. He uttered words to his coworker and went to the freezer and brought out amassive block of frozen meat chunks and threw it on the counter. I was very polite and thankful for his time. We got home, prepared it, and cooked it for almost 18 hours. The whole time we wondered why it never fell apart and stayed huge chunks. Wecut into it and they were chunks of fat, literally ALL, huge chunks of white fat. Not an ounce of meat. I just felt verydisrespected. Read more
