Delicious! The appetizer salsas are all really good, although none are super spicy. Loved all 3 vegan tacos I tried! The... handmade blue corn tortillas were great. My partner enjoyed the octopus burrito. The spicy margarita was excellent! The sangriawas lacking fruit but still refreshing. Definitely recommend!! Also the churros are incredible. I tried to get every angle in there… let me start by what we ordered though, and i apologize but i cannot remember the names... so here are the descriptions spicy shrimp tacos - i know it looks like they have nothing on it, but it was my favorite dish.the seasoning was just perfect and it was cooked well •ceviche like dish with torta chips - super yummy! very sour for mytaste though, but still good and has pickled onions :) •campechana quesadilla - didnt get to try this one but it lookedyummy and loaded •nixtaco combination taco - i honestly think its a must have for first timers… the flavor and all theother stuff in this taco is amazing. its creamy and has shrimp with other protein in it. great experience in my mouthlol overall 5/5! the price wasnt too, too bad for 3 girls who know how to eat. also, the service is so so so so so so fast andgreat. within 10 minutes or less of me hitting the place order button, most of our food arrived hot and ready. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I've driven by many times, but this is the first time I've been inside. From the outside, I... never would have imagined the cool cantina atmosphere that I found on the inside. Definitely get the guacamole; it's chunky anddelicious. The spicy potatoes were also very good. I also got the Avocado Explosion taco and the Spicy Tofu Taco. Both wereamazing. The tables have a QR code for ordering and paying, which made splitting the check super easy. If you're thinking abouttrying this place, stop thinking and just go! Read more
I finally managed to seat for tacos at Nixtaco. I’ve been drooling over their “foodigram” photos for a while. They’ve... been extremely successful and I can understand why! Since I wanted to sample as many tacos as I could I ordered 4, but I wouldsay that 3 is probably the magic number. I found them to be very rich with cheese and or sauce. We were really excited to try Nixtaco, I had been following their social media for awhile. It was alright, but we weren't super... impressed. The prices for food and drinks are pretty high. They have a QR code menu to order, have a tab, and checkout online,which is pretty standard, but leaves little to no interaction with any staff. The online menu has little to no description ofwhat the menu items actually are- especially the named drinks. I love micheladas and was eager to try since they make their ownmix, I ordered their Nixtaco Clamato since there wasn't an actual "michelada" on the menu, so I assumed that was it. It was notgood, didnt finish it. The pint glass was cute and the presentation looked good, but it tasted like I was simply just drinking abeer... not even sure what kind- did not taste like a michelada or caesar, or clamato. The tacos were good and we liked thevariety, but they were definitely overpriced $6+/per taco. Extra salsa was an up charge. We sat on the patio and were blasted bythe smoker smoke the whole time, although it smelled good, it was not pleasant having the smoke in our faces the whole time.Since you order and check out online there really isn't any server interaction at all. We were never checked on, there was noopportunity to actually ask any questions about the menu. We ordered online, someone dropped off our food/drinks, we paidonline, we left. We likely won't be back. Although the tacos were pretty good, there are several other places we like to go withbetter service, better atmosphere, and more appropriately priced menu items. Read more
It took a while to get a reservation, but was great to finally go there. They have an amazing selection of vegetarian and even... vegan options. The variety of tacos is exciting, and there seems to be something for everyone. Ordering is easily done andservice is quite quick despite how busy they are. We'd definitely go again. Read more
