Nice place with slow service and a bit rude as well. Our server was on the edge of arguing since we got seated. What was... supposed to be an hour lunch turned into 2 hours because most of the time we could not find our server. Food was deliciousthough. Portions were very well sized and the salad had the right amount of dressing which is pretty rear. Got the dessert to goso the ice cream melted but the cake was super sweet with a tint of vanilla. I have no desire to come back to this restaurant whatsoever. The worst service I've had in a long time. The food came totally... not prepared as ordered. I canceled our restaurant at a nice place in town thinking I was making a reservation for another niceplace in town and you get there to get zero to no service or bad service on top of that. The salt shaker is actually a saltshaker that you would buy at Safeway. My wife ordered a specialty drink and they served it to us in a water glass. This placehas severely gone downhill. Their food is awful and their service does not justify the dollar amount that they charge. They needto fire the manager right now! He is running this restaurant into the ground. It used to be a nice place to come and eat. Nomore! If you read some of the reviews a lot of people had similar problems. There’s also reviews about rats at thisrestaurant. If your looking for an amazing dining experience then Paul Martin’s American Bar and Grill is the place. I took my wife there... last night for our anniversary. From the ambience to the service, drinks, appetizers to the meals was an amazing experience. Mywife and I walked away with the biggest smiles on face! So let me also add we had to order dessert! This is Paul Martin’sfamous Butter Cake! The name says it all! No doubt my wife and I will be going back! Thank you to the operations manager Joeyand staff for an incredible experience! Read more
Are dinner and first time experience was absolutely wonderful. I've seen many reviews expressing this place was "over priced"... let me tell you, you get what you pay for. The food, drinks and service were fabulous. It's been a while since we've had suchgreat service. I started in the bar area for happy hour until my party arrived. I had the cocktail "sangria" and burger combofor just $16. It was delicious and the sangria came in a nice large glass. We then moved to a table. We were a party of 9. Ourserver never skipped a beat. She was fast, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made sure our table was happy inevery aspect. we celebrated my brother who is apart of Cal Fire being home for the evening before heading to the El dorado fireand my sisters birthday. We were beyond pleased with everything. The restaurant itself was very nice as well offering indoor andoutdoor dinning. Hats off to this restaurant and management for choosing great staff. Our group of four, a double date, went to try Paul Martin's for the first time and did not know what to expect. Turns out, the... experience was amazing! We loved everything we tried. Butter biscuits, calamari, seafood pasta, and salmon cassoulet. Incomparison to the other dishes, the salmon cassoulet and biscuits could have been more generous in portion size but they weredelicious none the less. The seafood pasta was especially delectable as it contained actual large pieces of lobster, shrimp,etc. I was really impressed by the butter cake especially and would order that again and again! The service was great, theatmosphere was warm and inviting and overall we had a wonderful time. The prices are a bit high but most of the portion sizesare quite generous so it seemed relatively reasonable. Read more
