This place is awesome and so glad I had the opportunity to try it. We had the endless bowls of soup. So many different choices... of homemade soup and all of them were fantastic. We were there at opening and it seemed like they were still getting ready for the day. All three meals arrived almost 3-4 min... apart and the first one that came was already cold. Got take out from Apple Annie?s. The food may have been better quality if eaten fresh but overall was still very tasty. Nice,... thick pasta sauce, special instructions followed to a T on the sandwich, all appetizers and sides were accounted for. There wasplenty of food for two days for everyone. Which broke down to around $10/meal/person which was quite reasonable. Very long waittime though even for carry out. Was told about 15-20 minutes and ended up being closer to 40 minutes. Read more
Our first time there ever. Got 2 Salisbury steak dinners both were pink and under cooked all the way through. Did call the next... day and the owner Lenny replaced with another meal. Got the pot roast and ground sirloin and both were wonderful Read more
Mom and pop style diner with daily specials. Breakfast all day, lots of dinner options. I'm pretty sure they had over 10 kinds... of soup. They are known for their specialty bread. For the price, you get a ton of food. Pancakes bigger than my hand and theomelet did not skimp on the fillings. Awesome wait staff, very attentive and friendly. At the front they have 2 display casesfull of pies, cakes, cannolis, and other desserts you can take home. Overall I enjoy coming here. I like the family restaurant atmosphere which is hard to find in restaurants when most are franchised. Great food, fast... service, ordered and everything came within 15 minutes, hot and fresh. Also the first time a bus boy photobombed my food comapicture, great hospitality. Read more
This is kinda like a mom?s and pop?s restaurant very homey and friendly. The food is good the waitress are on point. They have... pies cakes for you to purchase when you leave. Service was good. It was clean. Soup was great. Chicken Broccoli quiche was not good. Cheese was over cooked or over nuked.... Crust was not good. Haven't been in this location in a number of years. I was a regular at Clinton Twp location it went downhill after new owners. Asked for a ingredient list and amount of calories, fat and that type of information.
