Placed an order online 10/28/22. I paid an extra $4 for the center cut ribs. I checked my food before I left and could... instantly tell i had ribs that were towards the end of the slab. this place is really amazing honestly. We got so much food and all of it was to die for! The food is so so good and service is... amazing. We had Jamie as our waitress tonight and she went above and beyond. Just treated us as every waitress should and I willdefinitely be coming back because of her. Thank you Jamie! I like them for the daily specials and when I need some consistent BBQ. Though I do try other things I usually am a fan of the... Rib Tips (ask for the old school) and get salad corn and fries to enjoy. Service is usually great though in the years going youalways get that one or two. Overall been a family dinner for 5 or more of us for a really long time since they opened. Read more
This is my favorite BBQ restaurant it has a rusic look to the restaurant all kinds of neat decor around , my favorite Meal to... order is the slab of ribs which comes with a few sides like the cornbread muffin or baked beans along with their BBQ sauce theyare known for, Hands down the best BBQ restaurant in my opinion Read more
Totally disgusted with my Thursday special. I bought 3 meals. I called it in. I drove from my job at Henry Ford Hospital, W.... Grand Blvd because the one nearest my home is closed. Many issues before I could pay for/leave with my food (which I calledattention to, in There favor not mine) I bought 3 separate meals. For my coworker, Mom & Me. When I say dry to burnt was thevariety, not kidding. I picked up the meals ahead of the May 19th 2022, Opera, Malcolm X. The first Malcolm X Day in Detroitannounced by Mayor Duggan prior to the Opera. Once we came home to enjoy our meal..... Soo very upsetting... I'm not sure where some of these bad reviews are coming from. The brisket sandwich is delicious. I always get the baked beans,... greens and corn bread muffin. All of it is so good and have a great flavor. I love this place. Read more
Ordered the 2 meat dinner plate X2. Spent $25 a person and it's definitely not worth the $50 I paid. That alot of meat and the... sides aren't that big Way too overpriced for the amount of food you get per dinner plate. The taste was alright. My rib tipswere burnt and hard to chew. 11/03/2022 I have never had a bad experience at this location and for the cook to send out a burnt not well done but burnt rib... tips is just unacceptable. I don't know if the cook is mad at Famous Daves or the world. But you should be fired for purposelyserving this horrible looking food to a faithful FD customer. I'm going to collect my coupon from Famous Pat to replace my mealbut after that I'll never be back to that location. I'm really disappointed ???? Read more
