Used Davanni's for a box lunch takeout for 17 people. Order was placed at 9:30am and ready at my requested time of 11:45am. ... The order was accurately filled and there were no complaints about the food. My only dislike was the amount of "spread" on thesandwiches and the bread quality which was not to my liking. But given this I still enjoyed the sandwich. I would order fromthem again but would ask them to go lite on the "spread". Read more

We ate at this restaurant chain around 15 years ago, I believe in St. Paul during our stay for a wedding. It was the most... amazing pizza we had ever had. We have searched high and low for pizza as good as this place and had never found it and what Ican say is you can't repeat history. We recently took a trip to Minneapolis and found the pizza place by the same name. Thepizza was good except the temperature was barely warm. It was cook through we just wished it would have been hot. I've enjoyed eating here pre-pandemic, too. The other night, I grabbed a pizza on the way home from work. Their food is always... good, and it's a great atmosphere for a casual night out, with or without kids. They also have very good calzones. Right now,they've got some very young people working there, so service is a little touch & go, though they are always polite. I recommendit. Read more
