I love Ethiopian food, and this just happens to be the restaurant closest to me. The food is good, but the service here is... lacking. I always dread any kind of interaction with the staff because of their attitude- it's almost as if it's aninconvenience that I'm ordering food. Phone etiquette is non-existent and you'll be sifting through customer photos for a menu.Hope the service improves! Read more

My favorite Ethiopian spot in twin cities. You can't go wrong with vege sampler. Shiro Miser and the green bean dish are my... favorite. It is a good deal to have a fish filet with sampler especially when it is freshly made. Most of the time, they willhave shiro that in a paste form, which tastes phenomenal but sometimes it would be a bit watery and less flavorful. I think itis another variation since i know some spots consistently offering the watery version. The service isn't as bad as the reviewsdescribe. The people here are nice. It is probably a culture difference though. If u need anything or the food is a kind of slowjust ask them. I can't complain more given the food here is so good. The injera here tasts the best in my opinion among otherspots I tried. It tastes the best when it is freshly made and warm. So come when it just open may be the best option. Otherspots I tried may cook a lot injera at once or use leftover even when it is just open. Read more

I had numerous of bad customer service experience with them and I never wanted to go back to them but my sister Insist, so we... walked in and place and order, a rude Waitress took our order. She brought the food and we saw a hair in the food. When we lether know she didn?t even felt bad about it or say sorry instead, she took our card get her payment and did nothing. I am verydisappointed. I won?t recommend them Read more

AMAZING food. It is a perfect 10 for the food alone. The service (albeit very friendly) is admittedly slow, and it?s not a good... place if you?re in a rush ? but that?s not really what this restaurant is about. It is 100% worth the wait and every penny.Great place for a unique date night. I will keep coming here forever. Read more

The food looks great but is served ice cold. We were hungry and was disappointed with the service. Definitely not going to come... back here for sure. The red curry in the dish is so dried out a dry layer is formed on top of it. Totally not fare for the priceyou pay Read more

Some of the best ethiopian food in the cities. Lamb tibs and their fresh tibs are to die for. Beef sambosa is also something... you don't want to pass up if you get a chance. Their veg (lentil) sambosas don't have quite the same flavor but definitely arefilling by themselves. Not to mention, for the price the serving sizes are massive so make sure to come hungry! I brought a friend to try the chicken and rice I had last time and I was a bit disappointed. The chicken was dry and it didn?t... have all the ingredients that it had last time I was there some days ago. I showed the photo of the last chicken and rice to theserver and asked, ?Is this the same thing?? She responded, ?Yes, except this one is not fully made.? Long story short, ensureyour know who is in the kitchen as it is made by different people. My friend wasn?t impressed with the dried chicken and plainrice and I wasn?t either. There needs to be consistency of how the food is made as I brought my friend specifically because ofmy last great experience. I ordered the beef tibs and that was felt and flavorful. I just wish the rice and chicken was thesame as last time. Customer service was not horrible, it was just the food quality that was a little disappointing. Read more

Dined in today at this cozy spot on Snelling at the first block north of University. Today was a blessing! The neighbor to the... north was not open, so we defaulted to here. I ordered the vegetarian plate and the vegetable sambusa. My friend had thechicken. Everything was wonderful. Polite service, friendly and attentive enough to make sure we were covered and yet not toointrusive. Happy and delicious food. We allowed for about an hour and had plenty of time to catch up and enjoy our diningexperience. Decor is homey and also bright. Read more
