I have been to this restaurant several times and it is my favorite Italian restaurant even compared to those in the North End of... Boston. The food is always excellent. I was there with 2 friends a few days ago. Service was, as always, friendly and very good.I ordered my favorite, Fruitti di Mare with the Fra Diavolo sauce. This dish is so delicious and is loaded with wonderfulseafood. I always get 2 meals out of it. One friend had the pasta Carbonara and said it might be the best she has ever had. Anout of town friend had veal Saltimbocca and cleaned his plate. We also all shared a plate of fried calamari and it was excellentand enough for 3. Went here last night for my mother's birthday dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great. This place is really... small I recommend making reservations. I ordered the linguine with clams in a scampi sauce. The clams were cooked excellent andthe sauce was flavorful and light. Read more
Best Italian outside of the north end. I always get the raviolis because they’re literally the best. They change up the... ravioli seasonally which sometimes drives me crazy because I’m not always in the mood for the version they have on the menu,but that being said every kind they’ve offered is amazing. Love love love this place. All staff that serviced us were tremendously gracious and kind. Even better, the food was... outstanding. Could I dare say this Italian food was even better than the north end? Of course, because it was. Take out theannoyance of finding parking in the north end, you’ll find it so easy to have a great night out at Delfino. I highly recommendthe open faced ravioli. My goodness, it was heavenly. The food was all very flavorful and quick. The service was great with our waiter being very kind and knowledgeable. We also... enjoyed the atmosphere and found it romantic with the dimmed lighting. Last evening, the 16th of Nov, I ordered take out from this pathetic overrated restaurant. It was my wife's B-day and she... deserved better the swill delfino served. I called twice to confirm my reservation with no return call. Originally we were toeat there, but changed due to the thought of Covid. The workers said they don't return calls so I asked an answering machine wasnecessary, and they responded they do do call backs. Save your money and find another restaurant; if I fed my dog the veal Ipurchased, he/she would have left home! Read more
