Great food, some of my favorite in the area. Try the mango lassi it absolutely slaps.

Best mattar paneer I've ever had! Rice was cooked perfectly and shahi paneer korma was great as well

My family and I use to love shanti but when we went last night after some time, it was completely different. The food was not... good - we asked for spicy paneer and it was bland and even sweet. The food was cold and had no flavor. I think there might benew ownership because the food use to be tasty. They also added charges out of the blue on our receipt including a delivery feewhen we were sitting down at the restaurant. Read more

we probably had some of the best Indian food in the US. the place is a bit upscale without being snobbish. the wait staff was... friendly to cordial. I will have to go a few more times, but this restaurant has the potential to become one of my favorites. Read more

I'm from Hyde Park and passed this place I'm sure a million times and never really noticed it. I ended up being invited to a... social gathering and finally had the chance to know it exists and try the food. I like Indian food but rarely eat it so this wasa chance to really go all out and I did. I ordered the Mixed Grill along with some rice. I had never seen so many differenttypes of meat on one plate. It was too good, cooked really well. All the ladies at my table were jealous since they all orderedchicken tikka masala (boring). Naturally I couldn't eat it all at once and had leftovers for a couple days afterwards. It's notfar from me so I'll definitely try to go back. Read more
