Another Poll Brother's master piece! My wife and I love coming here for any time of the day. Lately we've really been enjoying... their brunch on the weekends. They have a wonderful broad menu, and of course the quality and service is always on point. One ofour favorite reasons to be here is the ambience as well, masculine yet cozy, warm and inviting. We usually seen tons of familygatherings and even private events like baby showers, birthday parties, engagement parties, and more. Hendricks Tavern is a not so hidden gem in the heart of Roslyn. Service here is spot on from the valet attendants, host, and... wait staff they all made us feel welcome from the start. The ambience is warm, laid back and relaxing! My wife had been beenlooking forward to trying Hendricks Tavern for some time and her birthday seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. We madereservations the day prior and had asked to be seated outside given the expected nice weather. When we arrived we were seatedwithout any issues even though there had been a couple of people ahead of us. The food was excellent!!! We ordered the zucchiniand eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza for my son as appetizers and they were all very delicious. My son had to fightus off from stealing a slice or two from his pizza pie. Main courses for our group included their Tavern BBQ Ribs and the 30ozTomahawk Rib Eye steak which my wife and I split. Both dinner dishes were excellent. We ordered creamed spinach, sautéedmushrooms, and hash browns as our sides. All were very tasty but the hash browns were a little crunchy and not the best that wehave had. Dessert included carrot cake and homemade apple crisp which were super delicious! The wait staff were very friendlyand sang my wife happy birthday when they brought out her dessert. Thank you it was a very nice touch! Overall great food,great service, and a super relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend you give this place a try and I know you will notbe disappointed. 10 of us had brunch today at Hendricks Tavern and initially we were outside but the weather was beautiful at 90 degrees so we... requested to be moved inside where It was much cooler and comfortable. The brunch menu was quite diverse and the food was notonly presented beautifully but tasted amazing. The service was excellent as they were able to accommodate our party in theinside so we'd be more comfortable while we enjoyed our brunch. I definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch lunch dinner. Read more
Definitely one of my new favorite steak houses in NY. Top quality food delivered with top quality service. Perfectly cooked... prime ribeye and porterhouse. After a friend raved about Hendricks, I now understand why. I highly recommend making a reservation because it was very busy... when we went on a Wednesday night. All the waiters are highly knowledgeable about everything you order. They’re very friendlyand make you feel like family. For apps, we ordered the Zucchini and Eggplant chips. It was delicious!!! If you’re questioningwhether to get it or not, GET IT. For the entrees, we ordered the Prime Bone In, 3lb lobster and the Porterhouse. They cookedthe meats right at the temperature we asked for and the food all came out relatively quick. The lobsters were brought out andthey asked if we wanted it to be shelled and did it for us on the spot. All the entrees were very good and I would get itagain. For the desserts, I’d have to say my favorite was the apple crisp. Every bite had apple and the streusel bits on topwas delicious! Our food was very mediocre with the exception of the raw oysters, which were fresh and flavorful. Server didn't bring part of... our order (we also weren't charged for it, so he must've missed that part). You're paying for the service, atmosphere, andlocation... not the food.
