Love this store for being so convenient and close but man will you guys please stop selling expired food? Every time I go in... here I see tons of expired food such as bread and more. And I?m not talking by one day or 2 I?m talking some 6 and 7 days pastwith mold in their packaging. You can really get someone sick doing this? please do better. Read more
I just tried to order a pizza in the Deli to be picked up cooked and ready to eat and was flat turned down. They had no one to... fix it. I was refused a order. The pizza and coke special is even in their ad. I really can't believe this would happen in aplace of business. I even called back and talk to the Manager of the store and he told me he was sorry,they were short handed. Iused to be a Deli Manager and this would have never happened where I worked. Prices were not what they had on the tag and the cashier was not very nice the service desk person that came over to help with... the price problem didn't seem to care nor did she do anything about it.and the guy bagging my groceries was was just flat outrude. I will not be going back to that foodcity for a very long time if I even ever do. Not a pleasant experience at all. Iwent back today and had a better experience. But I only went after 1 thing today it was just more convenient to stop there sinceit is on my way home but it will be a long time before I do my grocery shopping at this one again. Read more
Very expensive, lots of items priced at least $1-2 over Publix prices. Clean store and you pay for your convenience. Example... Kraft Real Mayonnaise price is over $8 but there sale today was BGO. Read more
Food City has a great balance of price and value. There have been some some supply chain issues with availability of select... items not being consistently reliable. Really appreciate the free face masks even with the resurgence of Covid and its newstrains causing more demand. Great produce and friendly staff make this grocery chain a top neighborhood favorite. Always great produce and they have what you need for the most part. I prefer to go here for all my produce and meat needs as I... really feel like food city is picky about what they put out... and that's how I like it. They always have a good selection andusually arent out of anything like some of the bigger supermarkets. If you're in need of groceries, give them a visit! My daughter is 3 and food city is her first love, favorite store, she gets soooo excited when we go or just drive by. Food city... is the best deals, friendly no matter where you look, best prices, and always have our favorites. This family loves food city !!Mission ridge rd is our fave. Read more
Great parking. Easily found using Google maps friendly staffing. Great pricing considering the cost of "living" has increased... 200 percent. Super specials that usually in other grocery stores are never on sale. I highly recommend, if you haven't shoppedhere, definitely give them a try. I'm sold overall on Food City, for my weekly grocery shopping. ( May I say, I'm a verynegative person, I really can't say I wasn't satisfied. Though I can say I was extremely satisfied.) Read more
