Service was great here. I can't remember the exact drinks we ordered but one was the tequila old fashioned and the other was a... spicy drink with tequila and both were really good. For appetizers we ordered the egg rolls which had to grow on us because thecollard greens kept throwing us off. The blue Point and 1st place oysters rockerfeller were really good and we will definitely return for these and the drinks. For entrees we ordered the jambalaya and neither one of us cared for it. For me it was toomushy. We sat outside and there was a TV right in front of us. Even though the patio faces the street it wasn't too much noiseand we could still hear one another. We will definitely visit again. Read more

It had been awhile since we had been here, certainly pre-Covid. The experience was amazing. Food was perfect in every way. Staff... was friendly and professional. Our server Shonte was spectacular. Even entertained my jokes. It was the perfect way to celebratemy girlfriend’s birthday. Read more

I had high hopes for Hugo's but was disappointed in the end. Long story short, great, GREAT drinks! Had the Summertime Setback... and the C&S Gin and Tonic. Great apps. Tuna tartare and the oyster platter were both delicious! Could have skipped the chewypotato "chips" that came with it. Unfortunately, extremely disappointing main courses; grilled cobia with spinach and Brusselssprouts, and the Jambalaya. My "grilled" cobia was definitely not grilled, but seared and overly cooked (and tough!) on the flattop. My sauteed spinach had mostly uncooked fresh garlic and an over abundance of vinegar. Seasoning on everything waslacking. The seafood in my BF's Jambalaya was also overcooked with mediocre old bay-like seasoning and served with uncle Ben'swhite rice and a smattering of teeney, tiny bits of the alligator sausage he was looking forward to. I felt like I received a$12 dish, not the $36 it cost. Disappointing. Next time, we'll just get drinks and apps. Read more

Oysters were really good! Definitely order the combo platter. The crusted flounder was ok. I feel like needed more flavor. ... Red fish was good. Cobia was slightly overcooked. Beignets were excellent and highly recommended. Read more

The oysters were shucked to perfection. All were great! I was not to thrilled about the 7 or 8 crab fingers received for the... cost. Nor the fact that my drink was taken before I finished it. But overall nice place great drinks and oyster go to. Read more

We've eaten dinner here countless times but had never tried their brunch. We wanted something a little different and I was not... expecting this. The food was very good and the fried oysters hit the spot. Even though they were fully staffed, people juststanding around, the service here was fairly slow. Overall, it is a great brunch location! The food here is so delicious. It was a beautiful day so we decided to sit on the patio. I ordered the Oyster Combo which... consisted of 3 different types of oysters. For my second dish I got the tuna tartar and finished with the seafood jambalaya.Everything was so amazing, kisses to the chef. They even gave us a hot towel at the end of our meal to clean our hands. S/O toour waiter Tony , he was so accommodating. Read more
