We drove by this place about 100 times. I thought it looked interesting with the upstairs area they added. We finally stopped by... for a Saturday lunch. I?m not sure what kind of food I thought they served but I was surprised when I realized it was a Mexicanrestaurant. Inside was slightly busy and seemed kinda cramped inside the restaurant. We opt to sit outside. The menu had Littleto NO pictures and the Entrees where written Spanish I assume because we had a hard time understanding the menu and confused onwhat to order. Finally we asked the server to explain the menu and she did. The server was very friendly and helpful. I alsoasked her what?s her favorite entree and what was popular. She said the lamb burger was a popular dish so my husband order that.He said his entree was just ?ok?. She also mentioned that her favorite was the grill shrimp over corn cakes (I forgot the actualname of the entrée) however I ordered that and it was DELICIOUS! I?m a saucy person and love everything saucy pico, guacamoleetc so this was the perfect dish for me. As we sat outside for lunch another couple came along and sat outside also and they hadtheir dog with them so Obviously well behaved pets are allowed outside lol. We also order 2 cocktails. I personally thought thecocktails were over price and not off great value. Pure pass the vibe check and the food was good . However, I will revisit. Mysuggestion would be add pictures to menu. We met a couple of friends tonight for dinner. My first time at Pure. Since I wasn't driving, I want for a Double Barrel... Margarita, made with barrel aged tequila; very tasty. Then I chose the Grouper and Shrimp tacos with corn tortillas, slaw andVerde with a side of rice and black beans. Followed it up with Tres Leches cake. All in all a really well done meal. That's the best taco I've had since I moved to Georgia 25 years ago. I'm not exaggerating. The corn tortillas were delicious... (house made daily) and meat was marinated and cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the grilled shrimp (camarones a laparrilla) and WOW the flavors were incredible. I should have taken pictures, because it was beautiful too, but it smelled sogood we dug in and didn't stop until we were licking our plates. Out door dining available. Electronic menus. Recycled straws.A well stocked bar (but I don't drink, so my opinion doesn't carry much weight in this area). A good variety on the menu. Theservice was a little clumsy and all soda is served in cans so no free refills, which is why I took off a star. However, we'realready planning on bringing our son here for dinner. Read more
The food was "different" than your typical Mexican spot, and that's what made Pure Taqueria a great place to try. We had never... been before and was wanting something "different" and we got it! This location was A HIT!! Sat outside and enjoyed an amazing lunch. Myself and my date had an assortment of Tacos, along with a... mojito. The drink tasted super fresh! And the food was just phenomenal ??????????. And the type of atmosphere is one I very muchenjoy. Don't hesitate to go, put it on your bucket list even!! Read more
