A great place to grab a quick lunch when on the run. Staff is very friend and usually there is very little issue with ordering... larger amounts of food. The timing with the phone orders are also usually well done. I feel out of the three Sammie's I know of,this is by far the best one. Read more

The Fairfield location is the worst I've had. The service is horrible. I called to place an order, was rudely told by some girl... I needed to hold, then I was hung up on. When I called back, she picked the phone and hung up on me again without sayinganything. I called back again and she very rudely says " your still going to have to hold" and switches me to hold. Needless tosay I did not call back. I was going to drive there but thought it probably wouldn't end well so I refrained, just as I willrefrain from ever ordering at this location again. My advice to Sammies is get kids that can at least handle a busy phone linewithout loosing it. Read more
First time at this location and the LAST FOR SURE!!!!! I ordered Gyros sandwiche and an Italian Beef sandwich, it took about 10... minutes to get it while other people came in and got their orders before mine. The Gyros meat was more like beef jerky and withvery small portions, and the Beef was sprinkled with a little cheese under the meat and nothing on top. I asked if can get alittle more Tzasiki sauce she said oh that's extra. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME THAT I COME HERE, NOTHING LIKE THEGRAYSLAKE LOCATION. Read more
For card payers, take note: they charge additional 4% of total bill (including tax) as "non-cash" transaction fee. Tried their... Gyros sandwich and even just the regular one has a LOT of meat! The serving is huge and filling for one person. The cucumbersauce is just right and the tomato wedges are fresh and ripe. I just wish there were more veggies on it. I do recommend thisone. We also had the Double Samburger with Cheese but it was just okay. Probably wouldn't order again unless we're supercraving and there are no other open burger places nearby. Their jalapeño poppers have a bit of a thick breading compared tothose offered in other restaurants, but at least they weren't oily so that's good. Unfortunately, if you're like me who lovesspicy food, you might be disappointed. There's no spice at all. My husband said there's a spicy "kick" to it but I couldn'ttaste it. If I could rate Sammy's at this location 10 Stars I promise I would! The service was great. The employees were so friendly and... courteous. They even accept Google pay at this locale! I'll never go to this location again. The one on Rollins road is so much better. I just got lunch today. My hot dog bun was hard... and chewy. The actual hot dog itself tasted old and gross. I looked at the bottom of the bun and saw what the appears to be sometype of mold growing. It's very disgusting and now I don't have time to go get something else Read more
