Love to go to Black Sugar in Cedar Park on Cypress blvd and so glad to see they open one closer to my house! I kept trying new... things there at the other store. The staff are always friendly and willing to help you find the drink you may like. This storeseems to be the same. This is gonna be great!! The decoration is better than the one I always go to. Hot creme brûlée latte. 16 oz $4.95. The coffee was way too sweet, and sort of reminded me of a flavor you would get out of a... machine at the gas station, except for triple the price. Waited 15+ minutes in the drive thru after I placed order. They haveyou sign a paper receipt at the window which doesn?t seem very efficient. The lids are also not the greatest they push in onthemselves so you have to remove the top to push it back out otherwise you cannot drink from the cup. Read more
Terrible latte, with poorly steamed and poured milk. The ?filled? croissant was just a plain croissant injected with the... filling. Is it too much to ask for a coffee shop to make a halfway decent latte these days? When I worked at Starbucks, thiswould not pass as a derivable latte. Decor is mildly interesting. Today we visited Black Sugar Caffe in Round Rock! Warmed us right up. The coffee is fantastic, and the ambience is perfect for... a meet up with friends or a business meeting. Omg, another location! This is my absolute favorite coffee/hang out spot every time I go to Texas and I?ve been to the Cedar... Park and Georgetown locations and am so excited about this one. Each location offers the same iconic cozy purple and black lacedbackdrop with a slightly different variation and this place gives me a modern/chic vibe and I?m living for it! My go tofavorite is the vanilla sweet cream latte and I got my tried and true Spinach Feta puff pastry and decided to splurge and get anapple turnover puff pastry as well. It did not disappoint. Warm, flakey, sweet and oh so filling. They also have newmerchandise and some Really quality coffee tumblers and long sleeves/short sleeve coffee shirts that I absolutely love. Thestaff is great and the ambiance is legit the best. I can bring my Computer here and work for hours. Will def be back!! Read more
