Possibly the saddest stir fry I've ever had. Overcooked shrimp. A tiny scoop of pre-shredded, limp vegetables not cut correctly... for stir-frying. Teriyaki sauce was sickly sweet. The iced tea was fine. Read more
I really wish they didn't take shortcuts. My partner has a gluten allergy so she gets brown rice, but they served her white rice... covered in soy sauce instead of serving brown rice. Which can cause severe issues. Be better. Read more
This was our first dining experience with Fire Bowl Cafe and the staff when out of their way to make sure that it exceeded... exceptions. We were met with friendly smiles and the willingness to help us however they could. They allowed us to try varioussauces and it was clear they truly wanted to make sure we bought exactly what we were looking for. The food was delicious andthere was something for everyone. With such a warming first time dining experience we will, without a doubt, be eating thereagain. Read more

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place seeing its next to our favorite ice cream spot. (So hint hint go next door for... dessert after eating here, it will make a good dinner even better with a really good dessert.) Anywhere, came in and theservice was very pleasant and upbeat. I will say the first thing I noticed was how spotless this place was. Real nice settingoverall. Washed my hands before eating and even the bathroom was spotless. Interesting fact... you can actually order your mealfrom your table because their is a barcode there at your table and each table is naked with its own number. So on to themeal... My wife got us an appetizer which as edamame which was pretty good. Lol she asked me how'd it taste compared to hermaking it at home.... I'm that honest type of husband and told her I'd eat this over ant of her vegetable she makes. My wifegot coconut curry chicken and she really like it. She said it had a sweet taste and she's definitely recommending you try it. Ihad the sesame chicken and that was pretty good too. Seeing that we are new to Texas this is only the third spot I've triedChinese food at and so far their sesame chicken is the best. The fried rice was pretty decent. I'm a saucy guy so had I had moresauce from the chicken on my rice that would have made it better for me, but it's not enough of a issue for me to complain orknock the meal at all. Great food and reasonably priced! Chicken was moist and cooked to perfection and I love that the veggie egg rolls/spring rolls... were crunchy on the outside and vegetables were tender inside which was a major plus for me! Guy with the ponytail is a huge jerk and he appears to be a manager also. Right away when we waited and walked up to order he... rudely interrupts us and asks if we are ordering for here or to go. After we tell him he asks FOUR TIMES what my name is wantingme to practically shout it at him. After we finished our order and paid we sat and waited, the entire time he glared at us fromacross the room. Someone else them walks up to our table with a bag and asks ?Sean?? I thought she was saying ?Jon? so I saidyes.
