They are working their @$$3$ off!!!... is it always this busy on a Sunday evening???????????? I guess that goes to show the food... is worth the wait. I waited for quite a while in the drive thru. I drove off but then came back to order inside. I was able toorder quicker inside. ???? Food was below expectations. Tip: Request extra sauce on the mashed potatoes. My bun wasn't warm:(sadness. I asked for a warmer one knowing there was little chance of that. The cashier hesitated as if he didn't know if hecould do that so i just said it's ok if no. The 2 piece leg and wing were ok. I don't think it's worth $8.69. I did likethough that they were able to replace the breast with the leg (which I learned is the drumstick...even emojis auto call it that ???? ???????????). The dine in area is too small. There's a Golden Chick on the way to Leander and that one is very welldecorated and has ample space. This one has a bunch of tables almost one on top of the other. My favorite part was that theyhave raspberry lemonade. Don't bother getting the ice cream cone. Or try a little if you'd like. But eat it as they say fordine in only. As in eat it inside. Not, you dined in so you can have some. Lol I ended up having lovely little ice cream messeseverywhere. ???????????? I'll go back on another Sunday evening but will check to see if it is busier than usual. If only twoor three cars are waiting, I'll wait. Or keep ya in mind for a Fish Friday ???? to try the fried catfish. I'll check to makesure the bread is warm that time before driving off and make sure to order extra gravy on the mashed potatoes. Always quick with some of the best chicken in Texas. This time around it was very fast. I think they do better at well-fried but... not over-greasy and still have a nice crunch every time. The atmosphere is very kid friendly and has a very classic style.Greater people anywhere I go golden. Read more

Service is very good and staff is very welcoming. Chicken has been very dry and over cooked but, the oil is being changed... frequently to prevent tainted flavoring. Read more
Food was good. That's all I ask of Golden Chick is to serve hot freshly cooked food. When it's hot, I think they have the best... chicken, wings, tenders, okra and fries anywhere. The wicked seasoning has a genius combination of spices and seasonings. If allstores appreciated the product, you would be a lot more successful. There's no competition when it's hot. I can?t complain about the food, my concern is about customer service. Coming here every Monday and Thursday, Using drive... through ordered 3 sandwiches, 5 pieces of fish, and 5 pieces of chicken tender and waited 18 minutes to get my order. Whoevercame after me, they?re all got their food and left. Finally got out of the car and asked about my order, they responded it?scoming without saying sorry. The chicken wasn?t hot it was barely warm. I took it back to the counter to have it replaced and that piece wasn?t hot either.... The French fries wasn?t hot either.
