We went to IKEA restaurant today.. 9 Oct. afternoon. Decided to have lunch there. The guy overlooking the food counter was... extremely rude. He was talking in a way as if we are just stupid & he?s doing favor listening to us & telling his staff to getour order. And there is almost nothing to order since we are vegetarian. The veggie wrap is terrible , with a tortilla likeleather. We used to have an amazing experience before. But now there is no proper food & top of that they have recruited peoplewho lack basic manners. Will not spend our money here again. Read more
I don't prefer having the vegetarian options. The fries were good. I didn't like the veggie balls.
Was thinking where to eat and cool down on the way to Austin. After a long search in the park and consideration that parking in... Austin is not free, and it is Saturday so all the nice places can be already full, I decided to come here. Good choice to have ameal on the go. It is nice and cool inside, and the prices are not steep. Parking lot with the shade available, Wi-Fi, WC andall the other amendments. Yes this is not a restaurant but rather an Eat, enjoy and go experience. Plus one for recycling andcommitment to cleaner environment. Read more
The place seems to be cutting down on cost on all fronts. The salmon fillet portion is getting smaller each time we visited. The... french fries used to be 1.99 for a bowl now it's kids meal sized plate. All veggies are gone and all dishes come with stringbeans. I got flyer for a free birthday meal with a piece of cake and when I came in 2 hours before closing, there was no cakeand only couple of plates of salads.... The price used to be good but the value is evaporating. Read more
Good quality for the price. Drinks are limited, which is why I didn't 5-star it. There are basic dark soda Coke and Pepsi... products, water, chocolate milk for kids; no Sprite or Mt. Dew, though. The rest of the selection is specialized drinks. Foodis well done, but is a rather simplified buffet style, akin to Luby's, so not fresh-fresh, but you can tell they're making it asthey run out. Horrible costumer service. I usually love IKEA,but today I dealt with exchange and returns costumer service and they handled all... of my questions and concerns the worst possible way. The representatives were rude, condesendant and really unprofessional, weare really disappointed in today's costumer service. Even though we like to come to IKEA to buy items for our home, we'll thinktwice about coming back, those two ladies in returns and exchanges need a lesson in costumer service. Read more
Checkout lines are too long. They have 20 checkouts but only 6 are open. Meanwhile there are employees around the store doing... very little. Like the 2 at the Ikea Visa table. When the lines build up, think about moving employees there to help. Goodproduct but poor customer service. Read more
I'll mannered people serving the food at the IKEA restaurant, they should be taught some manners and customer service.... Ikea... should remove such staff who are spoiling their reputation. Read more
