Southern inspired restaurant local to Austin, Tx. They pride themselves in using local ingredients. You can really taste the... freshness of their ingredients. To start your meal you will get a complimentary taste of their pimento cheese. They have anice selection of drinks, beer and wine. I had the Cobb Salad but substituted for the southern fried chicken. They add theirhome made corn nuts and it really adds the perfect touch of crunchy to the salad. The portion was perfect size and delicious.The service was great, the food came out quickly. First let me start with I HARDLY ever give 5 stars to anyone . But this Restaurant truly is amazing. Beautiful entrance. Very... welcoming staff. Our waiter ?Dylan? was simply amazing! He greeted us with such great vibes. Explained the whole background ofthe Restaurant and the foods used from Texas Farms! He recommended different dishes from salads to fish tacos! Freshly squeezedlemonade was amazing ! The dessert was a strawberry and blueberry cobbler with Mexican brown sugar and cinnamon icecream!!! That is definitely a good choice ! Hello everybody! Dinner went really well. Our reservation was for 5:00PM but we had to wait about 15 minutes passed that... time. So when we got seated they put 2 $5.00 coupons because of the wait. They also didn't charge for two of the appetizers and3 of the 7 desserts were also taken off the bill because we were celebrating my granddaughter's birthday and my son and hiswife's wedding anniversary. Everyone ordered drinks more than once so we were really surprised that the bill was only$300. There were seven of us so that breaks down to not even $45 per person. The food is very tasty, made to order for sure andlocally provided. They even tell you where they get there meat and produce. Very Texas. Not fancy but very good and welldone. Service was excellent. This place lived up to the hype. I was very impressed. The reviews were all right. The margarita was small but it packed a... punch. I ordered the Jack Burger. It comes with Jalapeño Mayo, bacon, cheddar cheese, pickle, and onion. You get the choice orregular fries, sweet potato fries, or get them mixed. Genius! My wife got the crispy salmon. We enjoyed the meal very much. Ourwaitress was good. The manager even stopped by multiple times to check on us and clean up our table. They have colors for thekids to stay occupied. When we first got there they gave us a hard time about wanting to eat in the outside portion of the restaurant. The inside was... very loud and one of our guests was hearing impaired so we wanted to sit in the quieter area so our guest could hear us. Thehostess gave us an additude and we almost left.
