Reviews for Papa Johns Pizza in Round Rock, TX

I beg everyone to listen to the reviews because they are all accurate. To start, I would give less stars if possible. I ordered... a pizza and cheesy bread at 7:55 and the email told me it would be delivered in about an hour. At 9 the tracker tells me it hasbeen kicked to door dash and the door dash update tells me it will be delivered at 9:42, which is almost 2 hours after Iordered. I contacted the store at this time, which was 9, and whoever I spoke with told me the order had left "a little bitago" and it will be to me sooner than that. Just a little information, I live 11 minutes away from the store. So I decided to bepatient and wait another 15. At 9:30 I still had no food and I tried to call the store. No answer. At 9:36 the order updatedsaying it was delivered at 9:08. At this point I contact the driver and they say they are just looking for my building. Theydeliver the food at 9:42. The pizza boxes had no safety seal and they were extremely cold. Me and my boyfriend did not eat thispizza. I had to go to little Caesars for hot pizza. It was less than 10 dollars and was hot, meanwhile I spent $30 dollars atthis location just to get cold and possibly tainted food. I'm upset I didn't get what I ordered or expected and after all this Ihad to drive to another pizza place for food because they can't get it together. Their customer service is unacceptable. I triedcalling several times and they did not answer. Honestly I am thinking of bringing in the cold pizza in the morning so theyunderstand we did not eat it. I have screenshots of the tracker, email and time stamped texts from the driver to show my foodwas delivered 2 hours after I ordered. To top it off I have to wait 2-3 days after the store management finishes looking intoit to get my refund. Read more

Seriously amazing. I ordered the six cheese, pepperoni and sausage pizza on the Brooklyn crust. The crust was spot on with the... chew and the slight crunch on the bottom. The pepperoni had a nice kick, not your ordinary boring pepperoni. The sausagecomplimented the six super flavorful cheeses. The whole time I'm eating it I'm thinking there's no way this is Papa Johns. Thisis sit down restaurant quality paired with a nice chardonnay kind of pizza. I do recommend ordering extra garlic butter. Idipped nearly every bite and took it to next level flavor town. Outstanding. Read more

I wouldn't know how the pizza is cause I never get my pizza when I order it. I guess they're short drivers cause Doordash is... having to deliver the orders. Both times I have ordered, the driver drops it off at "the requested location" but it's not mydoor and they never communicate with me on delivery. Instead they take a picture of it on a bench then steal the pizza forthemselves. (Don't ever expect your meal if Shelby D. Is your delivery driver)The PJ app doesn't allow enough characters to giveproper instructions for delivery and the drivers don't get the instructions from the PJ app. I called the store to let them knowI never got my pizza and during the first mishap, the manager was snippy with me and claimed they called me twice but there hadonly been one brief ring and they hung up. The second time, whoever picked up just gave me a refund and didn't try to takeresponsibility of the issue. This reflects poorly on the company and makes me less likely to ever order PJ since they can't evenget the proper drivers and customer service right. Read more

I ordered pizza at11:22 on 11/30/2022. Papa John's closed a 12 am. When I called they said they are open and ready to take my... order. a women called back after I paid and said there is no delivery drivers. I said no problem I will pick it up. She said, "actually I can't pick the pizza up because they can't have anyone in the building after 11".I said, "okay, can you bring thepizza to my car?" She said no. So basically she lied and said the reason why they couldn't deliver is because there are nodelivery drivers. I think they were trying to close early. They Took my money now I have to wait 10 days to get my money back onmy credit card. If she processed the refund. and I still have no food. This will be reported everywhere. Read more

I ordered an Epic pepperoni stuffed crust pizza as a walk in carry out. I brought the pizza home where my family and I started... to eat it and realized there was no pepperoni in the crust. I called the store to inform them of the mistake and the managertold me I ordered the wrong pizza. She claimed the Epic stuffed crust pepperoni does not have pepperoni in the crust. Eventhough this is what it?s called on the current promotion on the website. She told me to drive back to the store and return thehalf eaten pizza and then they would make me a new one. I told her that would be a major inconvenience and I asked her for acredit towards a new pizza on my next visit. She said sure, but gave no info on how to redeem said credit. When I asked her howI would do so she said just explain the situation all over again next time I come in. I explained how difficult that may be on anew order with a new person when she doesn?t even have my name. She then hung up on me. Ordered my pizza at 5:50 PM. The pizza didn?t arrive until after 7 PM, and it was cold. To top it off, the delivery driver... didn?t even bother to knock on the door and let me know the pizza had arrived. This is the worst Papa John?s in the area. Skipit. Read more

So my delivery was fast and easy and the pizza rolls and pizza looks good. My pizza rolls were amazing they?re just missing the... sauce so I decided to call up there and KARI saved the day. Thank you so much Kari for helping us we appreciate you so much! SheDESERVES A RAISE!! Read more
