The food here was great. Not what I expected at all. I love the setup and environment they had here. I like that the food is... fast BBQ, I didn't have to wait for my order. You order by the pound and the cook pulls it out and slices it there where youcan see them. They weigh it and you pay. I went at lunch time and it wasn't crowded at all. The food BBQ smell you getprobably made me order more then I could handle, but the food was delicious. Read more

Consistently good BBQ at a fair price and has never let down. In Austin, there?s obviously better BBQ places but between the... wait, the price, the availability, and the hours, Rudy?s has always been a good contender, not to mention the indoor/outdoorambiance is great and they have good breakfast taco selections as well. I always recommend getting the moist brisket. Cream cornis always also great. It?s worth trying at least once and a great stop for some barbecue if you don?t have the time/money forthe more pricey options out there! Read more
I have been going to Rudy's for years, and to be honest, it's not all that! There is way better BBQ out there! I actually gave... up on them and their BBQ. I have recently been stopping in and grabbing a breakfast taco on my way to work, because it's justbeen convenient to my job site. But let me tell you! Talk about breakfast robbery! For $3.50 this is what you get.???? Everyoneneeds to support the small businesses that sell you a loaded tortilla filled with breakfast goodness, for a little over $2.00.I'll be telling every construction worker I come across to quit going here!
