We had a reservation for 715 got seated an hour later. The ladies at the front door really wasn't up to speaking and not... friendly. After we got our seats we ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Which was fried pickles they were good. We sat andchatted for a while waiting on the server at first it was no big deal because it was Father's Day so we knew they were busy, butwe hardly ever seen her. Was a little apprehensive to start with, when a couple left right after walking in because he heard that service was awful at... this location. He was wrong. Very busy, came in on a Friday night. An hour and a half wait but got seated at the bar quickly. Ordered drinks and an appetizer... of the fried mushrooms which the bartender forgot to put in. Got our meal. I ordered the Shrimp Duo with mashed potatoes and ahouse salad. My boyfriend got the Chicken Fried Steak. I was disappointed in the serving size of both so I gave him my grilledshrimp. Fried shrimp was on point, love the mash, salad was watery because the lettuce wasn't dried. Bartender took off thefried mushrooms from our meal, brought them out which there was a lot of, but we ate a few and left the rest....nothing to writehome about. Today William was our server. Fresh coffee and kept my husband's and my drinks filled. I always get Chicken Laredo, to die for.... He makes the best dinner salads and when you ask for extra dressing, he gives you just that.My husband had his favorite steak,we drive from Belton to Round Rock for it.First time I had their herb rice. Pretty good experience. It was lunch and it wasn’t busy. Inside was dark and appeared clean. Dusty wall art and walls. Service... was good. The bread must have been made the day before because it was crusty and hard. Very disappointed. The house salad wasgood. We ordered the filet medium with French fries and one with Sweet Potato fries and it was great. Overall we enjoyed thestay and the meal. Read more
