Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday while visiting Round Rock. We had a party of 6, so had to wait about 15 minutes for... a larger table. There's a nice sitting area right outside to kill the time. Upon sitting, waitress immediately came over totake the drink orders and answer any questions. Started off with the large Seafood Fondue and a few drinks. The drinks wereok, but the Fondue was amazing. I expected basic melted cheese with a few seafood pieces, but I was pleasantly wrong. It wasvery flavorful with a nice mix of spinach, mushrooms, various cheeses, with large chunks of shrimp and crawfish. It wentperfectly with the bread. For the meals, there were so many tough choices so we asked the waitress for some recommendations. She said everything was good, but the favorite is the Stuffed Flounder, so ordered that smothered with the fondue sauce and aside of red beans and rice. This was a great recommendation as it was a large piece of flounder that was generously stuffedwith crab and smothered with the same fondue sauce we had for an appetizer. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and all lookeddelicious. I'll definitely come back to try some more menu items, even though it will be tempting to get the Stuffed Flounder. Great food and service. First let me say that our server was great. We have been going to this restaurant for over 17 years and have loved it. We go for... anniversaries and birthdays. However this is the first time we have been since the new owners and it will be the last. Weordered our usual dish and my dish was horrible. They burned the okra and my fish. It was cold and totally wrong. It wassupposed to be creamy and light but it looked like they used country gravy and put spinach in it. And to make matters worse forthe first time in 17 years they were out of chocolate pie at 5:00 pm and they even managed to mess up the corn muffins and thefrench bread. My husband is from New Orleans so he knows what the food is supposed to taste like and that was not it, it hadbeen correct until the new owners took over. My husband said the gumbo was still the same. I have see two photos, one with redbeans and rice is how the dish is supposed to look. The second is what I was served, very different and horrid. I have been going here for years. Yesterday I needed my crawfish fix. I was sadly disappointed. The crawfish use to have so much... flavor, now is bland and not spicy at all. Even after I request extra extra spicy the crawfish was still bland. The drinks werealways on point. The best hurricanes in Georgetown. Now taste like Hawaiian Punch. I am very disappointed, I had to leave and goto Hook N Reel to satisfy my appetite. I will give them another chance. UPDATE: Brandon listened and came back for redemption. The crawfish was WELL seasoned and had the right amount of spice. He has earned my continued business. I commend him for takingthe time out to learn how to make crawfish. Read more

We started with crab cakes and fried Gator and it was so good. The seafood platter was $32 but I split it with my wife and we... still took home leftovers. The catfish was light and flakey and tasted amazing. Overall one of the best seafood restaurantsaround here. Read more

Crawfish Bisque tasted fishy with little flavor. Definitely didn't seem Cajun at all and I'm from Houston so... The jambalaya... had dry Chicken, dried out sausage And the rice was difficult to swallow with out sipping my drink to moisten it enough to getit down. The red beans and rice was extremely bland and again did not seem Cajun at all. The Mac n cheese reminded me , inflavor and not just looks, of the stuff in a box sprinkled with real cheese. On the other hand the fried and blacked gator wasgood. The blackened tasted great but some pieces where very tough and chewy. The fried was good when paired with the mustardsauce it came with. For fried gator it was chewy and a little over cooked in general. The best part of the meal was the keylime pie. It was actually really good.. great flavor and nice smooth and creamy texture.. I would not recommend this placeunless u only want tea and pie... Read more
