My husband and I were very impressed with the best homemade Italian food/pasta we have had in quite some time. Highly recommend... if you want high quality food at good prices. This was our first visit, recommend by a store proprietor,as we are on vacation.We had bread, escargot as an appetizer, salad. We only had dined here once a year, so they will not miss that we will never come back. It took over 20 minutes to get our first... drink. Our server was nice but young and poorly trained. Appetizers arrived 35 minutes after being seated but we were enjoyingeach other?s company, so the bad service was ok. Then our food arrived and pasta was not completely cooked, chicken Marsala hadno mushrooms and swimming in chicken brothe, etc. The owner did nothing to fix the meals and instead left the poor untrainedwaitress with 4 unhappy customers. First time there 4 years ago, it was fantastic. The last 3 visits were awful but we madeexcuses because of Covid. Now we?ll just make reservations at Anthony?s in Plattsburgh. Read more
Vary bad experience, excellent waitress felt sorry for her waiting on two floors plus two decks and had to mix drinks but the... food was not very good. had escargot you couldn?t even taste the snails with all the cheese on it, my wife had a pasta seafooddish came with a lobster tail still in the shell and the pasta was a pile of mush very disappointed. This was a $50.00 dish and25 minutes by the time we sat down to get drink and 1 1/2 hours to get food, sauce was terrible it would have been better out ofa jar Read more
Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating and a good menu. The staff was very earnest, although they were super busy. We were told up... front there was going to be a delay and the staff did a nice job refilling waters and bringing bread since they knew things werea little slow coming out of the kitchen. One odd thing we encountered is that everyone in our party who ordered pizza hadtremendous gas after eating it, no matter what pizza they ate.
