The first time I had Kiki's delivered it was absolutely delicious! I had steak fajita quesadillas, Guacamole Salad & Queso... Flameado w/Steak. Everything was fresh, good flavor everything I was looking for in a new Mexican restaurant since I was new tothe area - I started off by sampling the simpler things! It was so good, I ordered the exact same thing again tonight. This timeit wasn't bad, but not like it was the first time. They forgit the Guacamole, They forgot the Flour tortillas for the QuesoFlameado w/steak. Last time the Queso did not have Cilantro in it. Thats one reason I liked Kiki's so much - the didn't outcilantro in every little thing they served! You either like cilantro or you hate it - me I hate the stuff! TThat is the onereason i stay away from a lot of commercial places like On the Border, Chuy's, Chili's, etc. Everything they make has cilantroin it!! Tonight Kiki's put Cilantro in my Queso Flameado! It wasn't just a little either - the guac has little in it but you cannot taste it - they put a lot in it! It took over the taste of fresh tomato & grilled onions w/steak!! All you could taste was Cilantro. I actually pulled 2 large stems/bushes of cilantro out of the melted cheese &that still wasn't all of it! Don'tknow if I'll order from them again only because of my dislike of cilantro. I love that items are made fresh, but i also needconsistency with ingredients as I do have have a limited diet with a lot of food that is restricted. Staff was sweet and polite, but the amount and quality of the food was mediocre. I got the combo fajita and the amount of meat... given was the size of hand and I small hands. I even asked if the plate was enough for 2 people and I was told yes. Paying for a$16.50 plate of food and it's barely going to fill me up. The caso dip was watery and I got stale chips. Not happy. My wife and I visited and had a great experience. It has been a couple months and I am just now sitting down to write the... review. When we walked in we were greeted and welcomed as we found our own table. The place is aptly decorated and has thenormal ambiance of a Mexican food restaurant you would expect to see. Bright colors, and a warm atmosphere go a long way inmaking you feel comfortable. The drink cups were big, and that is a HUGE plus for me. We enjoyed our meal and it was verytasty. I like their chips and their salsa. If you are in the area, stop in, and give them a try. you will not be disappointed. Read more
I am not pleased with the so called Steak Quesadillas! They had more steak fat than actual steak meat on the quesadilla. I... literally had to open each one to remove the fat! I have not eaten there in many years but being that this was always my go towhenever I ate there it was never this bad! What has happened to the real quality? This is $8 worth of nachos??? 4 chips! This is wild. Never in my life have I seen or ordered nachos like this. It tastes good,... but 4 chips… the large order isn’t much better. My husband got it. 10 chips total. Absolutely ridiculous. Edit: The menudoesn’t even say how many chips you’ll get, because anyone in their right mind wouldn’t order 6 chips for $8. 1) ourorder was incorrect 2) what was correct was disappointing in portion size 3) what was correct based on the menu and portion sizewas still disappointing in food quality and seasoning, particularly the meat 3) price was extremely high even factoring for 2021 “supermarket prices” 4) I am definitely not interested in attempting to eat at this restaurant in the future Read more
Came in today and ordered fajitas to go. A Hispanic couple came in after me and ordered fajitas dine in...AFTER ME.... how come... they are eating their fajitas and I'm STILL waiting on mine? NEVER will i EVER visit a place that makes me feel like I am notappreciated. My money is just as green as theirs is.
