Always wanted to try Chicken Shack and finally did. The food was great but unfortunately I was given a half full 2 liter of... lemonade. I proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them. The cashier just sighed really loud. No words at all. So I told herit was ok and told her "God bless and stay safe." Her response was hanging up in my face with No apology, no thank you, noacknowledgement what so ever. Thus changing the entire direction of this review. Maybe if they weren't busy selling weed out ofthe back of the restaurant they would've been able to pay attention to an obviously half consumed beverage!!! Read more
I don?t know if it was an off night but this place wasn?t very good. The potatoes were drenched in butter and the chicken was... very dry. I would like to come back sometime soon because I have heard many great things about this place. I am hoping it isbetter next time. Read more
Popeyes and KFC can shut down in my opinion. It would be extreme weight gain for me if I lived here! I've never had fried Cod... fish fingers before. Nor have I had crunchy chicken like this before. I made a mistake online, realized it when I came back into the store. The employee who felt like a supervisor, completely... understood and made it right in a professional, relaxed and kind way. The workers at this Royal Oak location on Woodward are clean, fast and have good attitudes. The food is usually hot and fresh,... excluding my most recent visit where it seemed the pork chops I ordered were cold on the inside. I'm going to write that as aone off considering that's the only time I've had a problem throughout the past 10 years I've been going there. Read more
Their brosted chicken is so good... I stopped by for lunch the other day and had their chicken chunks lunch with there potatoes,... coleslaw and a roll which I enjoyed. The lunch menu is confusing and not user friendly so I just guessed. The restaurant is verysmall inside so you have to eat at a small counter around the windows. The bathroom is in a weird spot. Food was so good but therestaurant leaves some to be desired. Read more
