OMG. This was so good I had to pull out my phone and make sure they got a 5 star review. The crunch of the chicken 5/5 The... little bit of heat in the sides 5/5 The size and weight of my platter 5/5 I got the 3 piece Dark, with baked beans and Mac andcheese. We've been coming here on and off for almost two years, and this place has not waivered! The only time I've left with a tummy... ache is from eating too fast, because it's so good you want to get every last bite in. The chicken has a kick, and I am not aspice person, but it's so freaking phenomenal that it's 100% worth it. We got the mac and cheese today and that was fantastic aswell. I came to this place by accident and ordered the mixed white and dark chicken, greens, mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes... for my family. This was the best mistake ever. The person at the register was helpful and because I'd never been there heexplained everything from chicken has a kick to having pork in the greens so there were no surprises. The wait was 20 minutesbecause it was dropped to order which I greatly appreciate because it was still hot when I got home. I'll wait for fresh chickenany day; Especially if it tastes good and it did. Everything was so good and moist that I had to stop eating to call them andtell them it was good. Gus?s World Famous Fried Chicken does fried chicken really well. What that means is a nice, crispy outer layer along with a... tender and flavorful center. Friendly staff, fresh hot and spicy chicken, fried pickles are amazing! Cute quaint place for the family or a chill back date... with friends or your lover. This place NEVER DISAPPOINTS!! I had the 3pc dark with mac n cheese & fries. Daughter had 3 wings &fries. We both had lemonade and I had a slice of chocolate chess pie warmed up.
