Ordered/paid online for food to deliver to friends home I was at in Royal Oak. I gave delivery more time to deliver then what I... was promised on website (considerate of it being dream cruise Sat)?I placed calls to get update that were not answered. Assumedorder was lost, called it a night and drove home. I got a call (identifying themself as Owner) asking if I want food left onporch or doorbell rang. I advised ?owner? his company FAILED to deliver as promised, FAILED to call with an update and FAILEDto answer phone when I called them. I advised Food was no longer needed and order needed to be cancelled . Owner blew up,stating he was working alone and if he cancelled the order our friend would be on the ?do not deliver to list? I gave the $67charge 5 days to be credited and when I called the store to see why it had not been credited, the Coward would not even come tothe phone and the embarrassed employee advised me to fight it with my bank. So I waited until my third experience with these guys to leave this review and I have yet to be disappointed. A rare to find... BLT, the Pineapple Express, and the Mary Jane pizzas. The diverse menu and blend of the ingredients are way above average here,items you wouldn't think to put in a pizza, work surprisingly well together and the flavors are just perfect. Nothingoverpowering to my taste buds here, plus they're thoughtful of their customers and respectful face to face. I'm proud to say I'ma customer for life now ???????? Read more
Ordered two small "gourmet" pizzas, each cost $13.99 (totally not worth the price) and a small Caesar salad for $8.99. Just some... lettuce, croutons, and sprinkles of parmesan. The first pizza was their "White" pizza and it basically tasted like a garliccheese bread. The other was the Margaritaville. Again, very basic. I just feel like $45.00 was a lot to pay for two small pizzasand a salad, especially for the very minimal toppings on each pizza and the simplicity of the salad. I have gotten Hippie'sbefore and had great experiences, but for some reason, the pizza didn't taste that great (dough was airy) and the salad wassub-par. Hippie's you guys should offer specials. Your pizza is prices more expensive than Jet's and Jet's pizza is excellentquality, dough wise! Read more
Ordered a Big Mac pizza, had everything but ground beef on it. We were extremely disappointed.
The Athena? absolutely delicious and the perfect combination of feta and veggies. Ordered at midnight and was noshing by 12:30;... enjoyed every bite of this cheesy zesty blend of fresh Mediterranean toppings. Read more
Hippies as some very unique pizzas. I have ordered from here several times and have never had an issue and theblizzas are always... fresh. You gotta try The Mack, as it's a big Mac pizza. The Don ho, and pesto are awesome too. Never been disappointed, and willrecommend to anyone looking for something different. Read more
